Oh man, the scale adds a lot.  Sentient refuse becomes a lot more terrifying when it can step on you.

Well, it is described as "huge" and associated with "nightmares" - and there is nothing scarier in the world of filth than a massive ambulatory filth that can step on your village

I think scale is one of the things that makes depictions of forgotten beasts so interesting: it's really hard to keep their size in mind in game, when they take up the same visual space as a dwarf. The Dwarf can move through that single tile tunnel, so can that 'huge' nightmarish Eldritch abomination. Seeing the Eldritch abomination represented on a scale where it is not necessarily the same size as the Dwarf, puts things in perspective again.

Oh dear, could someone please explain how to post an image?

Upload it to an image hosting site and put the picture's URL into the [img ] [/img ] tags (remove the space after "img" when you do). I use imgur for pictures, and it provides the premade BBCode for you already.
