Although I really liked all them, I choose Bralbaard's. Very unique and fun vision of it.

Congrats Bralbaard! Updated the OP with your beastie :D

I would also like input on the running of the contest. Do you like it, do you not? Any suggestions?

I like it, but that might just be because I had a successful last round ;)

I'm looking forward to see what people come up with for the new fb.

I think it could be great if the winner of the month could be linked in the first post to make it easier for people in a few months to find the different winners.

Are you thinking a list of the last 5-10 winners?

Maybe a list of every entry decided to be the winner?

I am having cognitative difficulties reconciling "emaciated" with the kind of body type that mites posess.

For illustrative purposes, this is what a blood sucking mite looks like...
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Being "globular", and "has exoskeleton", the usual signs of being emaciated (sunken soft tissues, being thin, wan, etc) would not really be applicable. It could be starving to death, and still have a nice round, hard exoskeleton.

Any idea how to resolve the cognitative malfunction I am having?

Found a few sources I like...  decided on a form and pose.

Building it up a scene.  Doing everything with pixel art. Will take some time.

Well, not only the last 5-10. But all of them, if possible.
Think of the future.
If I want to see the best drawings but don't have the time to look though 1568 pages, how can I do ?

Space will run out. I have been thinking of a way to set up a depository. Right now, I'm thinking of something like dropbox, or a friend's domain where he offered me space.

I was also thinking of a dropbox or something.

On the first page, with a spoiler tag, all the links and the name of the beasts.

Once more, I am worried that post character limit will run out.
