less lairs
« on: March 24, 2013, 10:51:27 pm »

i always end up turning werebeasts off completely because if i have any world with a moderate to long history i end up with hundreds of lairs, lairs, and more lairs and i dont want quests involving killing peasants (werebeasts in their man form) i want quests to raid bandit camps and towers.

So is there a way to mod werebeasts so they dont spread so much or at least lower the amount of allow-able lairs? i have my number of sites set to maximum but the wiki says this only affects how many sites civilizations will occupy, and beast lairs are then added over that maximum.

eh isn't that what the number of beasts is for when generating a world?

there is no specific parameter for beast count, only semi-megabeast and megabeast and titans. The number of werebeast curse types only affect how many different werebeast types are possible, and so werebeasts can be used to disable them completely if its set to 0, but cannot otherwise control their number.
