Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

Rick sniffs in boredom. "Well... That was that. Knew I shoulda updated mah 401 plan..." He drawled out slowly in a relaxed tone as he leaned against the nearest sturdy object. "Y'all need to relax a bit, too tense. I'm sure the good doctors have the answers, yes?" Rick commented, not really caring whether or not they do. "Either way, this mean I get mah job back?"

Rick drawls and talks, leans against something.

Totally not ripping old signup!

Name:  Thrak
Gender:  Male
Description: A gangly fellow of moderate height, with dull eyes and average brown hair.
Cheap Backstory Bio:  Totally not a transhumanist fratboy that volunteered for something stupid.

Name: Alexandra
Gender: Female
Description: Shory, but thin, with Red hair tied back in one long braid. Wears glasses, and often a green shirt under a lab coat.
Bio: Alexandra was one of the scientists who created the serum, and, for SOME strange reason, wanted to try it out herself.

Name: Walther

Gender: Male

Description: a tall, bald, middle-aged and heavily muscled man dressed in a black robe with a red clown's face embroidered on the front and back. His face looks hard enough to crush rocks with. Wears black glasses with thick rims, has an unkempt full beard.

Bio: being the Great Wizard and sole member of the local branch of the Order of the Risen Clown, Walther could not resist the opportunity to transcend his flesh and move the world closer to the semi-mythical Shenanigan Event Horizon, the point at which the entire world will collapse in chaos and disorder, allowing a new order of clowns to rise and take over, hence the name of the order.

DO DA REETUEL
...The ritual, you mean?
[4] You get up and do it properly, which goes beyond the space of this turn.
During the ritual, you sprout a long tail.

How odd. Poke a sore, observe.
It hurts when you poke it.
Your mind feels different, like you have a new finger on your hand or something.

We don't get a description of what our mutations are?
What do you mean? I described them.

Investimagate computors.
You get up and wander over towards them. "What are you doing?" demands one man.
He blanches as your muscles swell, filling your old coat a bit.

poke the tongue... find a reflective surface and observe tongue... try to speak
In order: It feels like a tongue, [4] looks like a tongue, and you can talk...a bit unclearly, but speak slowly and people should understand you.
As you consider this, you note a pressure on the back of your shirt.

[1] "No." Some people run in with a cage. Body language indicates that they're going to put someone in it.
You flush an orangish color, and stay there.

"Ok then, reading apparently not a skill I have anymore, great."
Look for the door out.
You see it, and several people going through it carrying cages.
Feeling nauseated, you hurl yourself on the ground and hurl your guts out for a minute or two. Standing up, you're in a big pool of reddish clearish stuff and your clothes literally fall off, due to you having shrunk to about the size of a toddler.

Throw something onto the table.
You take out a falcon treat and toss it on the table. Nothing happens.
Your skin shifts to a plasticky consistency. Surprised, it changes back. Soon you learn how to control it.

NPC Actions:
Various people jab at machines or jabber at each other. A few come through the door with cages.

Maybe one mutation per turn is a bit much.

Digital's system looked like it would have worked better.

His descriptions too.

Also why aren't the statuses on the turns themselves?

throw shirt at cage guys, try to spread my wings.
If that fails due to lack of wings find that reflective surface again.

His descriptions too.
I think my system is nicely simple, but I'll consider reducing mutation rates.
What did you like about the descriptions?

I liked how they concicely explained what you had. Like my super strength. I knew what it was and how much I had of it. For example, whether I could only lift cars or throw mountains.

His: *953: SUPERHUMAN STRENGTH: This mutant has vast physical strength, hypothetically capable of lifting up to several hundred tons.
