~~~ ONE MOD TO RULE THEM ALL ~~~

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

- based on my Essential DF mod, with all fixes and streamlining.
- good races: dwarves, dunedain, hobbits, sindar.
- evil races: dunlendings, cave goblins, easterlings, haradrim, orcs.
- other races have diplomats/trade representatives.
- real-world aboveground plants, for all your farming desires.
- semimegabeasts: giant trolls, fire drakes and shadow spiders (Shelob-like).
- megabeasts: dragons, balrogs.
- lots of LOTR creatures: wargs, fel beasts, werewolves, mearh, giant eagles, cold-drakes, long-worms, cave trolls, great spiders and more.
- cursed creatures: ringwraiths (necromancers) and barrow-wights (mummies).
- most of major races build fortresses and tombs.
- raw mithril.

- generalized materials: leather, wool.
- tannable fur, leather, scale, chitin, hide.
- body material rebalance, weaker/stronger body materials and tweaked tissues.
- rocktip arrows/bolt craftable in craftsdwarf workshop.
- ability to burn remains/corpses in kiln.
- display case to make use of all useless artifacts and just make rooms fancier.
- thatchery to make beds/boxes from plants.

- rebalanced archery: bows and crossbows are less deadly, especially against armor.
- dwarven crossbows, elven bows: as good as vanilla weapons.
- slingshots and bullets for hobbits.
- new swords: arming sword, greatsword.
- different races use different weapons.

Very cool, definitely watching with interest :D

My orcs are nowhere near Tolkien canon but if you are inclined of course feel free to use anything.

I will definitely check your mod for inspiration, smakemupagus!
Currently "playable orcs" are here because I've decided "why not", but once this mod has more or less enough content in it, I plan to make a separate submod focused on orcs with all brutal and gory stuff.

And of course Putnam is here... Dude, your itemsyndrome script will be the most important thing ever. Because it's needed for the Rings.

Interesting where it will evolve.
I just hope you'll still be doing development on Genesis and Fallout mods, they're real pleasure to play.

OMRTO - Beta2
- rebalanced archery: bows and crossbows are less deadly, especially against armor.
- dwarven crossbows: as good as vanilla crossbows.
- elven bows: as good as vanilla bows.
- new ammo - bullets: blunt damage, not deadly unless hit the head but nice against armor and break bones.
- slingshots: they shoot bullets.
- hobbits use slingshots for ranged weapons.
- new swords: arming sword, greatsword.
- different races use different weapons.

Nope. AFAIK nobody really killed a ringwraith but that situation with hobbit, so they will just go POOF leaving cursed swords behind.

Hm. What do these cursed swords do? Do they turn you into morgul-wraiths when wounded?

They will turn into wraiths. Also there will be a way to kill a ringwraith to get his ring.
