Dear god, that is terrifying.

It's a reference to an Australian comedy mockumentary where one of the characters is a spoiled private school girl played by a 40 year old man... convincingly.

That dosn't make it any less horrific.  :P

Anyway I feel that a lot of the controversy here is in response to public opinion and media pieces. People are unhappy, and their leaders need to appear to be unhappy too, left the opinion polls fall... But that still puts Abbott in an interesting position. He made our relationship with Indonesia a political issue, now Jakarta is returning the favor.

I suppose we could always settle the argument the old-fashioned way and just go to war. After all, we emulate the USA in many ways, so why not copy their method of resolving political disputes too?

10 years later the Emperor of Oceania, Tony Abbott, surveys his realm, stretching from the South Island of New Zealand to the borders of Bengladesh and India.

Great. Now I have an image of Tony Abbott dressed up like Napoleon Bonaparte burnt into my mind.

This is when I imagine the hilarity which may happen if certain things are glichy. Such as targeting your own body parts to eat.

You eat your own head
YOU HAVE BEEN STRUCK DOWN!

Eh, if he managed to take all that in only ten years it would be clear he did it through US military support, and is now only acting as a puppet of the American government... Pretty ironic, the guy is a monarchist.

That is an improvement. I'm still stuck with him in budgie-smugglers >:/

I'm troubled by the new bikie laws here in QLD, and so is the opposition
Doubt that they won't get approved though

Yea, the more I learn about the bikie laws the less I like what I am seeing... Draconian is a word I'm certainly looking at applying here.

more crazy qld laws

These go along with the previously discussed bikie laws, and the hooning laws, the... dubious nature of which can be pretty much summed up by this image, and the whole government seizing of property in general.

Really? A burnout is worse than drink driving, breaking the speed limit by an absurd amount, or not even having a license?

Oh Queensland, you know you bought this down on yourself. You have the Liberal Nationals an absurd swing, and now you get to suffer for it...
