You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

It's less slow start and more 'I don't know what to do'.

"Yo, you know the way out?"
You're already outside. However, they do speak Common, and they ponder the philosophical thing about this. Like that crazy hobo from Flatland. If you choose to battle them, then you (DD and TS) will go first in the initiative order.

Right, gonna be honest here, kinda bored.

Grab the booze!
So you want to go in the tavern?

WE HAVE A WINNER! Very savvy of you.

Booze!

Booze it is! You walk into the tavern. *boink* There is a bartender here, cleaning a mug and serving some patrons. You note that he is obviously very skillful at his job, as he is doing both at once. You both take a seat. "Hello gents, what can I get you this fine day?" The bartender speaks to you.

(Also, unexperienced DM here... I don't honestly know how leveling up is handled in 4Ed D&D. Can anyone provide an explanation?  :-\)

The bar tender asks if you have enough money for that. It's approximately 23,000 Astral Gems.

Slam down thirty alterian dollars. Sure, their economy mught fluctuate like a bipolar schizophrenic but the exchange rate should get it going.

If you have the right knowledge, you could survive on less than thirty alterian dollars a day.
