If I (
Hapah) was lying about my N4 action, that'd mean that LNCP would have known about it. The only way LNCP would go along for the ride if I was lying is if we weren't enemies (same scumteam, cult, one of us survivor and the other scum, whatever). I see the possibility of 2 anti-town players left at this point as remote, but you can come to your own conclusions.
If
Okami was lying, it would mean that he was almost certainly responsible for the randomization/redirect on LNCP. There's a couple of sticking points here, though. The first is that he
claimed a Staff of Monster Detection during D3 (it's basically a Watcher on someone, see who visits). It's possible that he could have used a redirect on LNCP instead of using this (on Toony), and
while a redirect would be useful as scum (less chance of being found out by a cop night action, etc etc), there's not really much of a reason to lie about it, is there? Nothing scummy about a redirect, and coming up a motive would've been easy enough. upon further research there isn't just a straight redirect item, so Okami likely did do as he said.
LNCP could have lied about two seperate things. Lying about using a delay has the same catches outlined in my lying scenario: now that Toony has confirmed it, it requires that LNCP and Toony have non-exclusive goals, unlikely two anti-town left, blah blah blah. LNCP fakeclaiming being randomized/redirected would have some interesting implications: we would inevitably end up scratching our heads wondering where the redirect came from as we are now. And actually, the only real danger would be if both me and Okami had confirm-able actions aimed at not-LNCP (and Okami claimed his track-thing in the post before). The big issue that I have with this scenario is that it would require a fair degree of confidence in the finer technical workings of the game, which LNCP doesn't/didn't have (no offense meant, of course).
We can't really do much of anything about
Toony's claims, at the moment. While the Scroll of Misdirection claim will be somewhat confirm-able tomorrow, there's not much to say about it. And while he did get the correct answer from the Scroll of Knowledge (probably, following up on that in a PM), though the fact that we had to drag it out of him (and it should have been quite clear) is troubling.
