I'll try to draw something up but I need to find an application for it first (Mac doesn't have Paint and I got rid of my old drawing software). If someone else beats me to the punch, I won't mind.

Form up and move out. Ginko and Sawaki will take point, with the lancers on our flanks. Swordsmen in two groups of eight and a group of eleven, two knights in each to help keep discipline, and an extra one in the group of eleven. Archers are accompanied by Aiku. The other three knights will accompany us as a reserve. The group of eleven swordsmen is ahead of us, swordsmen on either side and slightly behind, with the archers directly in front of us, between the large swordsmen group and our group.
I don't have really anything to make a very good or clear look of how we should be spread out. If you guys know a map grid thing or something that's easy to use, please direct me to it?

Gold - Light Knights (Aiko in rear, Ginko and Sawaki up front just like you asked)
Green - Medium Knights
Red - Lancers
Purple - Archers
Blue - Swordsmen
Black - Possible positions for Kell and Mav (top-left, top-right, middle-left, middle-right, bottom-left, bottom-right)
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Just imagine the groups are a bit tighter, the spacing between them is reasonable and that its much thinner to facilitate moving through the forest. Good?

PC: Hi, I'm a PC.
Mac: Hi, I'm a Mac. Hey, what do you have there?
PC: Oh, just some games.
Mac: Oh neat. Can I play too?
PC: No.

I fucking hate this Mac. I mean at least it can run like a million tabs at once (and Safari has a really awesome spellcheck feature that makes me look smart) plus two emulators, my screen capture software and MicrosoftWordMac with no slow down, but I CAN'T PLAY COMMAND AND CONQUER: GENERALS ZERO HOUR. FUCK. FUCK. FUCK.

Haha, yeah when you said that it made me laugh and considering how long I've had that as my pic, it just seemed right.

Regarding Command and Conquer, I can only give my deepest condolences.

The case sits on my entertainment centre. It mocks me.

Yeah, that sucks.

...Remind me, is C&C TB or RTS?

Its an RTS, plus one FPS title by the name of Renegade (was rather good. multiplayer was like playing an rts from the ground. you could buy npc allies, tanks, and you had to protect your resource gatherers and build buildings, etc.). Whats a TB? :O

Not exactly what I had in mind. If you tell me what you used, I'll try to make something a bit more descriptive.

I really don't care what you use. I could give less of a crap what you use to draw it. Just make something not ugly and, like you said, descriptive (not sure how much more descriptive you could get, aside from making the formation look as you imagined it), drop it into photobucket or whatever, and get it on the thread.
