Now that I'm able to solo family challenges my inventory is starting to fill up with lifeskill scripts I can't use and that don't sell because everyone else is buried in the things too. If anyone wants something from this list, tell me what you want and the character name I should send it to. Otherwise I'm going to start vendoring stuff to make room.

Begging:
 * Greasiness
 * 2x Need and Bow

Herbalist
 * Tenacious Pill

Scholar
 * Lofty and Soleman
 * Couplet 12
 * Like Dragon Like Tiger

Painter
 * Misc Album 9

Tailor
 * Blue Satin Tailor Hat Book (Would be curious to know what items this unlocks. Might be good.)

Poisonmaker
 * Blood Throat Evil Manual

Chef
 * Soft Intestinal Noodles
 * The Graduation Party (This appears to actually be a pretty good recipe)

Blacksmith
 * Hundred Blades Single Blade Book (whomever gets this I'd like you to make daggers for me too)
 * Hundred Blades Quarterstaff Book

Weiqi Player
 * Surrounded (3)

Also, do we have a craftsman and/or replacement cook yet? My materials collection boxes are about to expire and I'd like replacements made, and I have 200 wheat I'd like to trade for steamed buns. Any volunteers?

I'm planning to be a craftsman, but I'd like to get a better handle on the game before I join up.

* Blue Satin Tailor Hat Book (Would be curious to know what items this unlocks. Might be good.)
Assuming you mean "Blue Satin Scholar Tailor Hat Book":
The "Dark Moon Hair Clip" I gave you is the apprentice level female item from this book.
The journeyman level female item is "Deep In The Netherworld", has 5 more defense, requires 17 additional stones to upgrade, and has a different appearance.

As for craftsman, I plan on having one of my characters be this.

I started out with Greasiness as a Beggar, but I'd gladly take Need and Bow off of your hands. BiaCheng is my name, begging is my game.

Reached second level of school internal skill-cultivation-thingy-can't-remember-exact-name yesterday. Bah. Anyways I can now get some cooking skill, so I guess I'll gladly take all that wheat off your hands as well.

I am also interested in a craftsmen so I can get some hasps and handles to make weapons with! Notably Craftsman hasps right now.

EDIT: Oh also, no one upgrade the Guild hall, although feel free to fill out the stuff we need if you want, it'll increase upkeep by quite an amount and It provides no benefits besides letting us start guild wars, which we don't intend to do quite yet. If you upgrade it all that'll happen will be the guild jumping up to guild level 2 for a day, and then immediately falling back to one, wasting all that iron, copper, wood, and guild money.

Will anyone be online tonight? I'm playing mabi tomorrow night so you won't be seeing me then.

Yes. We need a craftsman. Also a poisonmaker, since it seems like they do the majority of item upgrades.

I'm on now. So if Tnx. Not sure when "tonight" is in your timezone, but I'll be mostly on for the next couple hours at least, then dinner, and I'll probably be back after that.

Awesome. Sent to Tnx.Fury.

I have gear that's upgradable by you. How do poison stones and upgrades work? From the description it looks like it costs unbound silver and uses up poison stones, and the value of the effect is dependent on your poisonmaking skill level. Which...probably means it's not worth doing yet.

Related, I apparently have 16 cotton thread in my bag that I'm not sure where it came from. I haven't been disassembling anything lately, so it's possible it might have been a drop from Shen family. Flax thread I have in abundance but isn't cotton thread relatively more rare? Can you make anything awesome with it?

Looks like there are five of us on right this instant.

Basically, cloth thread + flax thread + tailor = second tier assembly cloth. I've no idea what that's used in (upgrades, supposedly), but there are stalls that buy it.

@BiaCheng: There's apparently a bug that shows you to be perpetually online but not progressing in the guild roster.

Edit: Craftsman now. I'll need lead for medium boxes, zinc for large boxes. (Iron for small, but that's trivial.)

I'll also need some craftsman hasps. Just making a handful will be fine, and I can provide the iron (I think it uses iron?) for them if you want me to.

Definitively a bug then. I haven't been online since yesterday...

Be sure to mention something in guild chat while you're on so we know you're actually on. :P

Double post because important.

One, a thing for emei people to test/look over/tell me why it's wrong here. I've heard a lot about how this is basically what makes emei capable of dealing good damage, and I'm not sure if any of you have stumbled upon it yet.

Two, I got a food recipe, USEC, if you see me on yell at me to give it to you!

Three, about how soon do you folks believe we should be recruiting randoms? Should we get our initial folks geared up (we're still working on that pretty heavily, ya know, more equipment makers and enhancers are always handy now that we've got all of our main jobs filled) and then do it? Should we just start publically recruiting ASAP? Any opinions?

That's it! I'm going to bed now so don't expect an answer tonight.

EDIT: Oh also, we completely leveled shen family fortress earlier. Movin up!

Yes, Departed Kin buffed by Parting Sorrow stacks accounts for fully two thirds of my damage. Leylic and I were both talking about it a couple days ago:

The majority of my damage when using twin daggers comes from Parting Sorrow stacks. It takes 20 attacks on a 2 second cooldown to build it up to max. That's a minimum of 40 seconds to get there. But once it's there, then yes...I can run around and do anything I want, and at the push of a button do 300-350ish AoE damage.

Yes. The guild need to be large enough to support having territory. Without it, we're missing out on guild warfare, having a guild bank, a 30% afk cultivation buff...all sorts of things.

I do, however, recommend that we first:

 * Decide on the sort of guild this is going to be.
 * Decide on the sort of people we want in it. Between DrunkenBeard and DrunkenFist I spent a day or two in another guild and it was completely filled with ALL KAPS LEET ROOXXXORS HAXXERS DOODS who acted like 12 year olds competing with one another for how much excrement they could fling on each other. If every time I look at guild chat I see FUCK SHIT HAX MAN DOOD YOU SUX!!!!!111, I will totally leave the guild. I propose we establish early on that people like that aren't allowed in.
 * Do some research on how the territory/popularity/funding mechanics works so we don't fall prey to guild level backsizing. If it's just a matter of making sure we always have funds, and therefore need to run at least X number of escort missions per week...that's easy to do. But let's know if that's what we need to do rather than find out through misfortune. The help texts are not entirely clearly to me. There are a number of posts and a wiki entry for this, and it looks to me like popularity is separate from funding, but both are required. But I'm not certain how it actually works.
 * Choose some officers, and promote everyone from bay12 to either initiate or veteran member.
