What building do you use to make enough blocks for the living arrangements? I'm having trouble pulling out enough stones and raw clay from the ground to do it, and I thought there was a building made to help that.

Also, you made me want to pick up this mod. It's been a lot of fun so far, random ice-cannons and what-not.

Just a couple mason workshops to cut raw stone into blocks is all. I have a spot I strip mine in sections to provide enough stone, along with the shitload that came out of reshaping the cave into a big-ass apartment building. All the clay's been going into making stuff to sell, not that we need it given all the stuff Hyena and Twig have churned out from dead aggressors and/or slippy ponies. Anyway, it took quite some time and I had to build up in a standard pattern, more or less anyway.

Glad I got the mod a player! Even one player is a positive impact on it!

So, a little fun fact, Nesoi is depicted as a reluctant combatant at best. Turns out she has skill in hurting others with a whip/scourge/any other whip-based weaponry.

That's somehow both terrifying and hilarious.

I don't think we've actually seen a screenie of the whole settlement yet, I'm curious to see how it's established.

EDIT: When I finish some furnishing I'll put post some pictures of the town. More fun fact-ing, Nesoi hit a slippy pony hard enough to send it flying seven tiles into a wall. Methinks I know what her true calling was/is.

Agreed. Even ultra-strong dorfs are hard pressed to fling a kobold more than 2-4. She just hauled off and smacked the poor little bastard right square in the lower body with her axe and it said they got propelled away by the force of the blow. I then watched an "airborne" tile'd slippy pony go from Nesoi, to wall. Seven tiles away.

Sadly this won't be in the next update as from a story perspective Nesoi is staying out of that. She's there in-game to train up to spec with the rest of her squadmates so when something gets by the GCSs I have by the main gate, she won't die in seconds.

You're really bad at wording things, but if you're trying to say you have a problem with gameplay and story segregation (Nesoi is only helping kill them from a gameplay perspective for skill grinding, nothing more.) please take said problem, and jam it ina box at the bottom of a mineshaft.

If i seem irritable, that's because I am. 25 hours awake with yardwork thrown in does not make for a patient Splint.

Hence why I'll share some of the stranger things outside of updates. Might not be canon per se, but I know the first Diomedian Nesoi gets her hooves on is going to be given a lesson in how to fly without wings over short distances.

Might not have all their blood and limbs, but still. A flight lesson shall be had.
