You are a reptilian creature with origins in a distant realm, and this is your adventure. Most Naga genders/castes have a humanoid upper body and a serpentine tail in place of legs. Naga live in families headed by a matron with a direct link to a deity. Naga families tend to claim turf, driving out other Nagas and subjugating other lifeforms from the shadows.
On earth, most Naga families claim a city or small nation/state and try to enact their will by using a human corporation, government, or organized crime ring as a front. They must often compete with other powers trying to control or exploit the mundane human sheep, while trying to avoid the attention of the fearsome Court of the Ancients, which will go to any length to prevent supernatural secrets, such as the mere existence of your kind, from becoming known to the great unwashed masses.
You happen to hold a good deal of influence in your family, and it is looking increasingly like the task of charting a course through troubled times will fall upon your shoulders...
This is a suggestion game. Most of my suggestion games that let you play as a monster get rather dark, so consider yourself warned.
Character Sheet:Name: Naga born on earth tend to have rather mundane names, Naga originating elsewhere tend to have more exotic monikers with lotssss of lissssssspy 's' sounds.
Mundane Family Specialty: What crime or industry is your family most famous for?

Species: Vote for a first and second choice.
Red Naga: Heat and fire resistant. Their venom is weak but quite flammable and can be spit.
Blue Naga: Cold and ice resistant. Their venom can harmlessly and supernaturally freeze victims for years on end, but is lethal to other Naga Species and cold blooded creatures.
Green Naga: Tiny, quick, lithe. Carries the strongest vennom of all Naga in terms of pure killing power.
Rattletail Naga: Nothing is particularly notable about the mediocre venom of the Rattletail Naga, but the beautiful markings on their scales and rattles at the end of their tails work to bring them closer to their magical abilities.
Grey Naga: Huge, amphibious, and non-venomous. Grey Naga use the sheer power of their grappling and constriction to overcome their foes.
Gendercaste: Each earthly Naga falls into one of 6 Gendercastes which determine his or her powers, skills, and sometimes role within the family. Vote for a first and second choice.
Matron: A Naga Maiden can ascend to Matron status upon completing a long pilgrimage culminating in a face to face meeting with a god who agrees to sever as the divine sponsor of her new family. Naga Matrons are generally humanoid with serpentine tails, but can take many shapes as their divine sponsor may choose to mold them as they see fit at the moment of ascension. Naga Matron's can birth baby Maiden's or Patrons with a week of rest and preparation and without male help. A Naga Matron defiled by a Patron from another family will give birth to a serpent, and is rendered unable to produce further children, dooming her family to a slow death. If a Naga Matron is killed, her family loses it's divine protection, and other Naga may hunt them for food, scale, or sacrifices without fear of retribution. The Matron typically tries to remain detached from and above her family, delegating tasks, delivering divine revelation, and spending as much time in well guarded solitude as possible... some Matron's will however take a more involved role in running the family.
Patron: A male naga born of a Matron, tasked with the divine purpose of growing the family while harming other clans. Patron's fit the stereotypical Naga shape, but are smaller and more agile than the norm for their species, and also more resilient. A Patron can defile rival Maidens to produce Eunuchs and rival Matrons to produce Serpents. They can also produce Manspawn with the help of human females or rival family female Manspawn. Patrons tend to run the financial and criminal side of the family when they are not planning and executing raids against rival families.
Maiden: A female Naga born of a Matron. Maidens fit the stereotypical Naga shape, and are found very beautiful by humans and patrons alike. A Maiden defiled by a Patron will give birth to a Eunuch, and will likely be denied an attempt to earn Matronhood should this happen. A Maiden is typically tasked with raising and teaching the families' young, as well as preparing themselves to eventually embark on a pilgrimage to obtain Matronhood and start a family of their own. Older Maiden's may choose to forsake their pilgrimage for a time to rule the family by leveraging the loyalty of younger members that they have helped raise.
Serpent: A Naga without a gender born of a Matron and a rival Patron. All serpents are born loyal to their father's family, and of the species of their father's family. Serpents lack humanoid features and appear to simply be large intelligent snakes. Out of all the Gendercastes Serpents have the greatest potential for performing magic. Due to the significant circumstances of their birth, to have a Serpent in one's family is a great honor. Serpents are generally entitled to whatever important role within the family that they want.
Eunuch: An infertile Naga, typically but not always with male characteristics, born of a Maiden and a Patron. Eunuchs fit the stereotypical Naga shape, and are generally physically larger than the other gendercastes. Eunuchs typicaly serve as shock troops, or guards for the Matron and Maidens, but particularly clever ones can work their way into important leadership roles.
Manspawn: A hybrid between a female human and a Naga Patron or Manspawn. Manspawn can be of either gender, and appear to be regular humans with fangs and scales on their lower legs and feet. Manspawn can breed with humans to produce human offspring or Patrons to produce more Manspawn. Manspawn typically rise quickly within human society while pushing the agenda of their family
Starting Situation: Vote for a first and second choice.
New Frontier: It is the early 1800's, and human civilization is expanding across the new world, building new settlements large enough to play host to a Naga Family as they go. Your family, either a new one or one driven from it's home, has decided to join the race to claim new land as opposed to fighting another family for control of one of the Old World Cities.
To Endure the Worst: The year is 1944, and your family has controlled Berlin for decades. Sadly the mundane war has given many supernatural forces the cover they need to make bids for power across the world. Several organizations are trying to take advantage of the chaos and uproot you. To make matters worse the human bombs are screwing with your business and criminal interests, and those wacky Nazis are desperate to capture a Naga for study to further their pursuit of creating a master race.
Pilgrimage: The year is 1968, and a Maiden from San Francisco's Naga family (you or an allied NPC) is making final preparations for her pilgrimage to obtain Matronhood. The journey to meet a god will take her through many strange realms, it is up to her wits and sizable escort to protect her from other Nagas, or worse.
The Hunt is On: The year is 2003, and an American bomber has just leveled the compound of the Baghdad family, killing their Matron. As the local Nagas no longer have divine protection, every other family with the resources to do so will send a hunting party to kill or capture the survivors for their own purposes. You are in charge of your families hunting team, and it is up to you to claim a piece of the pie for your clan while taking advantage of the fact that other families may make their own Matrons and Maidens vulnerable during the hunt.
The End: The year is 2001, and the Matron of the New York family has been killed when a plane rammed into her secret apartment in the South Tower on 9/11. You have lost your divine protection and your financial empire in one fell swoop. Now Naga from all around the world have come to hunt what is left of your family, and it falls to you to keep them all alive for as long as possible, perhaps long enough to find some sort of escape or protector. (Hard mode. Cannot pick Matron if you pick this starting Situation)
