If he did underestimated Cacame from the very beginning I think he would be in for a world of pain. Cacame used a candy warhammer and a candy shield, he is not to be scoffed at.
Edit: Now that I think about it, I don't know if the warhammer was really dangerous or just for laughs at the time, because nowadays it's the only thing candy is bad at.

I am aware, as the wiki happily points out. Was it always so, or did the weapons receive some sort of update since other versions? If I do remember correctly, Cacame is from a far away past.
