After heading to what passes for the pantry here, a small side room with non-perishables, now stripped almost bare, you return to the table.
 'So, what's the plan now?'
'For now? i think we're back to survive. That's what we usually do anyway. unless you have any objections? Although we are running a tad low on food, but that's your concern really.
Surma winks at you, before turning to Phenex for input.
'Well don't look at me. My leg's busted. Not like i'm going to be of much help to you.'
With that said, you spend the day chatting and relaxing, before heading off into a deep sleep.
 -----
Fog. It is on all sides of you, everywhere. Surrounding you. Carressing you. It feels alien, hostile. It feels like home.
Four horses stand in the distance, chained, the only constant in the shifting world. three are mounted with featureless riders, the other not.
You sense three planes here, one above you, and one below. Then nine. Two above. Two below. One on each side. Then there are three again. And the images change with the world. Clouds. A tree. A mountain.
But always the sense. You are watched. A vague figure, humanoid but also inhuman. Growing. Wheezing. Slowly, ever so slowly, it draws closer.......

 -----
You wake with a start, panting. That was a strange dream, to say the least. But it was a new day now. A new start perhaps...

As you look into the pantry for breakfast you grown inwardly. Beans. Just beans. It was quite possibly time to go out looking for food. You can think of a few warehouses where you could likely find some more. There were a few in the docks, and a couple in the industrial estate...... although that was where that creature was. You shudder.
Heading back to the main room you announce your plans for the day, and begin to head out of the door only to find the others are not with you. Reentering you see Surma grinning sheepishly at you.
'Well he has a busted leg doesn't he? And we can hardly leave him alone like that.'

((A couple of bandages, but nothing that would help a divine.))

'So, how exactly do divines heal then?'
'An injury like this? Time, my friend. Or gaining power. And in my current state time is all I have out of the two.'
Hearing this you realise there is little else to do but to set out alone. With nothing else to go on you decide to head over to the warehouses in the docks, still shaken by the encounter in the industrial district. Arriving at one of the warehouses there, you find is almost untouched. A miracle even without the gangs around the area. You fill your bag to bursting and return back, satisfied.
In the midday sun you return to the manhole that serves as your entrance, only to find it open. Concerned, you hurry through the tunnels far quicker than normal, only to find the base in a state of disarray. the once immaculate bookshelves are smashed, their contents scattered across the damp ground and ruined. the central table is only found on a second glance, reduced to matchsticks against one wall. There is no sign of the others.
returning to the surface, there is still no sign of them. Disappeared without a trace. Searching of the area reveals only a single brass valve - one you remember well from when you made Surmas arm.

((@kaian, honestly not. the dice just don't like you :P ))

You head back to the base, scavenging whatever you can find that may be of use. You find around 5 bandages and some aspirin, and a touch more food you must have forgotten. And Surmas sword. That could come in handy.
Storing the supplies in your bag and strapping the sword, sheathed, across your back, you leave the base behind again. Just can't catch a break these days. You look around, searching for more clues of some sort. About all you can see is a small cog, leading off towards the industrial district from where you found the valve. gathering both, you swing yourself up onto your bike and set off.
You think whilst on the ride there. What could have happened to them? maybe something had followed you back. Maybe that creature..... or maybe the gangs? but you had to pick somewhere to go next.

The creature. That made most sense. the factory would be your best bet. Heading over there, you see the torches are still lit, and hear what sounds like an attempt to whistle coming from inside.
 Then the sound stops.
'Master?....the gift is ready master.......come......place hand.........'
You can't be sure it's addressing you, but it sure sounds like it.....
