I'd probably be scared by being pounced on by a weird creature.

Oh, actions.
Keep the gun aimed, but ask for more info...

The creature limps towards you, its flesh healing more with every step. When it is within arms length there is no visible sign left of the wound. you halt its progress then with your shotgun, aiming it very pointedly at its head.
'Stop. first you tell me more, or I shoot.'
 'Shoot?.....Bangstick?.........me............make........ gift..........for.............you..........no.......hurt?'
It reaches out to you, seeming as if to take your other hand. its other arm reaches out for the tile, but the being hesitates, glancing at you as if to ask for permission.

 'What gift?'
 'Is........unfinished........need........more...........'
It shows no further sign of speaking, so you turn and pick up the tile. As you return to face the being, you can see it cringing where you touch what was once your master. You hold it out to the creature.
'This. What is it? How does it work?'
The creature looks undecided as to this turn of events.
 'no......can't say..........Is........................need.........for........gift............................Good..........gift........'[/b]
 'What gift?'
 'Me..........make........gift......................Not........finished...................Show?'

 'Fine. Show me this..... gift.'
The creature grabs your hand and drags you bodily into the factory. Regaining your balance you see before you the half finished mosaic from before. The only thing that has changed is that a discarded blowgun lays by your foot.
 'See...? Gift.......Need.......finish......need......give........you....................Master...'
As it says this, it reaches for the tile in your hand. You react instinctively, pulling away and knocking its hand away, and the room is filled by a flash of light.
Stunned, the tile slips from your hand. As your vision recovers you see the tile, smashed upon the floor, aether rapidly dissapating from it, and the fragments themselves beginning to fade from view. Spinning, looking to the being for explanation, you see it crouched on a crate, clutching onto the charred stump of its arm. Even as you watch, the stump stretches and the limb begins to regrow. The creature looks at you, frowning.
 'Foolish master...........wasted...........too soon.................but good.........feels good.......better..........stronger........But too soon!'
It turns at this, and jumps higher onto the stack of crates, out of reach, looking down at you with a look of indecision.
