Any consensus? Although just to point ouy - those gargoyles were @ 2power each for relatively easy kills. numbers WILL get big.

5 points per weapon/armor, and find something else to kill.
In any game where you can spend points to earn things, the best idea is always to spend points to get more points first.

Some sort of companion being would also be helpful.

How much benefit would there be to spending more than the minimum on an item, and how much would making another creature thingy cost? Some sort of flying snake warpet/ally/whatever.

((Power in=power out. Remember, 5 power = average human. A conmpanion could be pretty much anything, except that you have to make the meat/aether as well as it's power, which will vary in cost depending on the power it has to hold.
As for spending over the minimum, I'm not sure what you mean....... More power will give a better item.))

How much benefit would there be in, say, investing an extra 4 Power in an average 1-Power item?

That would all depend what you did with said power. Just straight investing power will gain little benefit, wheras a little ingenuity, such as the poison arrows, goes a long way. Vreativity and ingenuity are rewarded.

Points in armor are for resilience, fire-proofing, poison-proofing. That kind of things. Just armor really.
Weapon will have HIT HARDER points, and speed-enhaning, as well as the summon-at-will-from-magic-gauntlet. And resistance for itself.
Bow will have the summon perk, blood-boiling acid arrows, and either accuracy (aimbot :P) or ROF (ideal is GoW3 bow ROF. I saw a LP and this thing had more RPM than a SMG...)

Just to point out, that will dilute the power a fair bit. from te fact you got 20 power this early on kind of gives you an idea of later threats.

Im a Lurker I tend to disappear dont just assume im totally gone cause Ill then pop up at odd times.
