Hey Guys, I am going to be getting my Dwarf Fortress Lets Plays back up. New Fortress/Adventure and new Computer... well better than what I was previously using.
Channel>: http://www.youtube.com/user/OriginalDoctorBlood?feature=mhee

Postage Stamp: I'll be doing all that I can be doing until May 14. The day I leave for BMT then Tech School as Fire Protection for the U.S. Air Force. Reason I am telling you this is because when I leave I may or may not get back into doing Dwarf Fortress and Video Game recordings. Kudos Friends.

I have, Check my channel I have some on there. Also due to technical difficulties I have been put behind schedule with my uploading. There will be a lot of Dwarf Fortress and a lot of Adventurer with some other games here and there.

I've been wanting to watch some DF, so thanks! That said, your microphone has a constant feedback sound, quite painful on my earbuds. You should look into fixing that/filtering feedback.

Hm... I either didn't notice it or am used to it. Does it sound like a low buzz?
I'm looking for a new Mic so if I find it then I might be able to cancel out that noise.

I have excellent, trained hearing and high sensitivity earbuds.
It does sound like that. A low, constant buzz in the background. It goes away when you turn off the microphone, and is likely to be feedback from the speakers. It's a lot less likely to be general magnetic/electric interference.
Most sound cards have feedback elimination features on the driver software, maybe yours can do that?

Ill play around with the settings. Unfortunately I have four or so pre-recorded parts so if I work something out the next parts will be static free.

I enjoyed the recordings, so I'd be glad to help if need be!

Are you using a desktop? Do you have a stand-alone sound card?
If it's a desktop, and not a dedicated sound card, chances are you have uh... what's it called... I want to say Aluratek. Whichever one it is, if you download the latest software suite for it, it should have a microphone feedback cancelling feature.

I'm using a Mini-Mac so yeah a Desktop. I'll take a look. I've updated all my software on this piece but I'm still unsure of what would cancel the feedback.
I'm uploading what I already have recorded as well as working out the feedback problem before I do anymore. Might run out of time so if that's the case we'll have to wait and see.
