(( I meant it as in, they don't know what that military includes mate. Remind me to make sure my men always have helmets with rebreathers and mag boots on when they are moving anywhere.

I can't afford to have men dragged into space or suffocate. ))

(But you see, being vaporized by plasma doesn't help your race.

You'll suffocate as well as us if you do mate, plus highly advanced armor and shields helps with plasma, and if you have plasma weapons then what do we have :P.

Not a problem.

The Zuratul are the next race to step up to the plate. Being a frail but intelligent race, they have powerful robotics and cybernetics availible to them, but can fall easily. Attempting to get the place as leader of the humans, they try to achieve this through peace rather than might.

Noghri
Pop:25,000
Skills:High armor, weapons, drones, very high combat, stealth
Main location: Armory
Resources with easy access: Food, military supplies, weaponry, armor, personal shield generators, basic plasma weaponry, basic recon drones.

Zuratul
Pop:1,000,000
Skills: High intelligence, mechanics, medicines, very high robotics, low physical strength.
Main location : Please supply
Resoures with easy access:?

Also, not necessarily, Brood, though it is likely. Weaponry is not in common circulation, plasma or otherwise, and they likely will be able to make their own, given the materials. Also, about more explanation on the setting: It's at star trek tech level, though plasma and laser weaponry are at early prototype stage, as are things like teleporters and light speed.

(( I'd assume we can advance ours as well then given that we have the main weapons area under our control which would include all the areas dedicated to weapons research? ))

You took the armory wing, which is where they store it. To make new weapons, you must be in the science wing. Also, i take it back, the Zuratul probably can't make better guns then the ones you have currently, do to the fact that they have basic general mechanics, not specified mechanics like weapon mechanics. So they can invent weapons, but they will probably be of inferior quality to yours.

Being a race of natural scientists, it's pretty easy for your force to access the science wing. Those that are not scientists aboard the ship either wait outside or are taken in with the pretense of a willing semi-human test subject.

Description: A race that consists out of small but strong people. They can remain unseen better then other races but are smaller and and so, a bit weaker.

Pros: Very stealthy
Contra: They are a bit shorter ( a head or so)

Yeah... This is kinda a preparation phase. Basically, you all get into your positions before you really start things off. I want to get three (Non-mercenary) factions before I kick this off. Also, CoA, I think that a small lack of size isn't quite enough to be very stealthy. Perhaps a high stealth, but not very high stealth?
