Shaping of the Void
« on: March 12, 2013, 10:07:06 pm »

Hey, I decided to make a spiritual successor to SOTFV.
Info:
1. There is an Overgod. He does nothing but bring the universe into existence then blow up. After that, there is no Overgod.
2. The universe is completely empty, there are no planets, concepts, substances, nothing. You bring them into existence.
3. You don't choose your spheres, what you create decides the spheres.
4. There is only 2000 kilo (unit of measurement) of energy in the universe, after that you have to feed off each other

The universe is completely disordered, you must shape it. What you create alters your Presence. You can create, but you cannot physically interact with anything without an Avatar.

Anyway, At the Dawn of Time the Overgod awoke. He was completely alone, there was no energy, no matter, not even existence itself. He was totally, and completely alone. Deciding that wouldn't do, he created a Void from the only thing he could use: himself. Breaking off pieces of himself, he turned those pieces into pure energy. Nearly half of him was spent by the time this was done, and he couldn't hold himself in one piece. Exploding, the rest of his body was shattered, the fragments lost their form and gained sentience.
The Overgod creates a Void. 2000 kilo of energy is unshaped.
The Overgod dies, the fragments of his body become Presences, god-like beings with no form, or alignment.

You are a Presence, what do you do?t(First 5 people get in.)
Players: Xantalos, Gamerlord, Sorcerer Kal, Fniff, IamanElfCollaborator.

The presence awoke.

It wheeled and whirled in infinity with it's brethren and knew it must stop.

Create an infinite floor of an indistinct color.

Ah screw it, Acts are confusing. Getting rid of them.

In, action later since I don't know what I can do yet.
You can do anything you want, create a substance (Like Magma), create a concept (Like Hate), create an Avatar, anything. Kinda like the old SOTFV

*zooooom*
Woot! Got in for once!

Let's start simple. Shape a blob of matter, composed mostly of iron.

Create a giant stone serpent and bring it to life

This presence looked, and it was....displeased.

It saw that the land was too dark, and sought to rectify this.

Banish the darkness with stars.

Create a small point in space that would hold nearby creations from shattering and running away, but unlike gravity wouldn't make those creations fall on it. Create a lump of dirt and multiply it, building from it few floating isles. Multiply iron and hide it in those isles. Say floating isles anyone?

And then it arrived from another place, the serpent, the man in white. Alien and chaotic, it says "There is a word, and that word is death."

Entropy is created. Everything in the universe will eventually die.

"But....we will remain eternal."

And the Presence....responded. Whatever this death was, it was unpleasant to hear.

Create the concept of immortality. All presences present are now unable to die.

And another word came, and that was life. Slowly but surely, on the indistinct floor, a microbe formed. Next to it, a man in a white trenchcoat with the greenest eyes like emeralds said, "and you shall evolve, and you shall change, and I will be your Creator now and forever."

It makes life, a few microbes on the floor, and creates an avatar able to appear and disappear at will.

It was uncertain.
Change was beginning.
The barrier. It was important.
Yes. The barrier.
Yes.
Manipulate the floor so that it still stays in the same place but seals me off from everything else.

Make creature which is can change shapes at will. It shall be very intelligent, thinking with entire body, but damage would greatly reduce it capacities. It could bear a birth to other by growing temporarily bigger and then splitting itself. Their adult size should be limited otherwise. But for now it should be just a size of microbe.
