((Yeah Kriellya, I changed my name because someone was already named Jack, I think that PW saw that, but if I got/get horribly mutated I accept my fate.))

Back to the Sword. Ask Steve if there is anything else to do.

Steve, is there any other thing to do? You said there is no SW, the UE is dead and I don't believe that the ones after the Amp Especialist would not come back with him alive.

(( O.o

Oh dear. Can't wait to see if Bishop and Milno have been interestingly mutated from that. And Paris, this is more that these guys are essentially trained and/or brained washed to *be* suicidal in the face of capture. And they all have the amps to do it without it being possible to stop them short of killing them. A Sod Commander would probably be more willing to surrender, which I suspect some of them have considering that we haven't seen anymore Sod activity.

So, PW, is that a perma-death by insanity for Jack? Or is he just unconscious / not processing what has happened to him? ))
I guess you'll just have to wait and see.

"AAAAAARGH! FUCK! FUCK IT! FUCK YOU! NOT AGAIN! WHY DO YOU IDIOTS ALWAYS GO AND DO THAT?! WHY DO YOU NOT LET ME HELP YOU?! ASSHOLE! I HATE YOU! I HATE MYSELF! I HATE THE UWM FOR CAUSING THIS! ANDI HATE THIS TWISTED UNIVERSE, WHERE PEOPLE DIE FOR THOSE UWM IDIOTS!"
((I on the other hand am enjoying this very much.))

Keep screaming and running and cursing the world and the UWM, ask Steve for directions if necessary. Hope that either the overload can be outrun on foot or that I'm running towards Gilgamesh.

((@Kriellya: The previous suicide was a UWM officer that committed suicide via monorazor to the head due to alien sharkmist influence while I was trying to save him.))
Bishop looks back on the slight mutation he got from the amp and looks over to Milno.

"Well that was unpleasant. Hopefully the doctor doesn't do worse fixing us. By the way, when we're fixed, do you want to take turns slapping Flint between us like a pinball?"

Head to the sword and the doctor. Show him the problem and make sure he knows that I want to be just like I was before and NOT something he finds interesting.

Keep running away from the mutating area of effect, using rockets and buzz mode on the straight bits to move faster if possible. Then once we've outrun the area of effect, head back to the sword and have the doctor take a look at the mutation I got so he can treat me. Make sure he gets the point that I don't want his version of 'upgrades' from the treatment.
((@Zako: I had the EMM turned on a few turns ago and I talked to piecewise, so the wave of mutation hitting Milno is going to be retconned. I almost decided to keep the result just to see what mutation I'd get, but I'd rather not tempt fate.

Also, here's hoping the amp's already ran out of juice or we'll have to keep dashing for our lives.))

"Old man, you are a liability." Milno says without even a moment's worth of hesitation.

Use the super-powered dash in every straight hallway found in order to escape in case the effect is still expanding. In case it isn't, see from a distance what exactly happened to Jack and report it.

You're all far enough away and fast enough that you manage to get to the elevator and up out of the bowels of the base. The effect of the overload slowly stabilizes in terms of it's size but continues to exist for now. You're all back at the same level as the ship, but not quite there yet.

"Damn!"

Spot what happened on the feeds.  Then start running in the other direction.
You run back to the ship because honesty, fuck that.

((Yeah Kriellya, I changed my name because someone was already named Jack, I think that PW saw that, but if I got/get horribly mutated I accept my fate.))
Yeah, It's still jack on the sheet. I'll change that. But yeah, you be going straight tetsuo over here.

Back to the Sword. Ask Steve if there is anything else to do.

With danger already a safe distance from them, Milno finishes what he had to say to Flint. "When you are given an order, follow it. You should not make the same mistake again." Incompetent people were a dime a dozen in the Sword already and the fact it was fueled by some wide-eyed ideal of heroism instead of stupidity did not change the results.

Get back to the ship to check on the overall situation.

Bishop didn't say anything but instead grumbled and kept glancing at the mutated part of him as he kept walking to medical.

Go check in with Herr Doktor. Show him the mutation and tell him I want it back to how it was before.

Try to figure my out modifications (Didn't have time for it). Go to the Doctor. Ask for more training.

Hey, Doc. Can we continue the training for now?
