(( I'd rather be near the Sword. Which, conveniently, is where I was! I'm also moving towards Quantum Grate, though... so I guess that means I'd rather be near a quantum anomaly than a biological one? Yeah, that sounds like me XD ))
((Technically Grate IS biologically, so its both :P))

((So lets take a vote, would you rather be nearby that amp overload, or nearby the new Grate? :P
I'm trying to measure my atrocity level, so this is for SCIENCE.))
((I'd rather be near the new Grate, because it gives me a better chance of controlling Grate again.))

Bishop looks back on the slight mutation he got from the amp and looks over to Milno.

"Well that was unpleasant. Hopefully the doctor doesn't do worse fixing us. By the way, when we're fixed, do you want to take turns slapping Flint between us like a pinball?"

Head to the sword and the doctor. Show him the problem and make sure he knows that I want to be just like I was before and NOT something he finds interesting.

Keep running away from the mutating area of effect, using rockets and buzz mode on the straight bits to move faster if possible. Then once we've outrun the area of effect, head back to the sword and have the doctor take a look at the mutation I got so he can treat me. Make sure he gets the point that I don't want his version of 'upgrades' from the treatment.

(Yeah, that was an accident. :-\ That was also why I got a decomp. I was actually aiming to destroy Travis's murderbot before he went fully psycho and started siccing it on everyone, but, well... a 6 happened with a microwave amp. :P)

((Unless I'm wrong, the overload is still expanding, so you aren't safe yet.))

And Jack...well jack isn't dead. But lets just say that he might be in a different shape when this amp overload finally loses power and the team can come back and get him. As for now, his consciousness is a bit too scrambled to be useful.

(( I think it was sort of implied by this line from PW, but I'm not sure. I read that as 'jack is stuck, the rest of the team is safe and can see what happened to him after the amp dry. If it behaves like any of the other amp overloads, in terms of what area the amp directly affects, then it should expand slower as it gets bigger, and then stop when the amp runs out of power.

The previous overloads only had such devastating long-range affects because of what they made, adding enough heat to cause hydrogen fusion and a small sun, and removing enough heat to make a large area that was near or at absolute zero. This one... is just sort of a field. It won't persist once the amp is done, and it won't really *do* anything to the base... except possibly make some quite disturbing mice. ))

((Considering most of her human appearance was literally (and to Faith, I believe it was, figuratively) skin deep, she didn't even mind.

Also, I wonder what that amp overload would do to synthflesh, considering as synthflesh is psuedo-organic.))
