Right, small update. I'm not going to be able to start updating regularly (exam week and whatnot), but atleast I'm not feverish anymore. Also, it's my birthday, yaaaaay! If we'd been further along you'd maybe have gotten a free thing or bonus or something!

EDIT: You are free to control your starting Retinue, RP-wise, but if not, tell me so I won't step on any toes by taking over.

If this is still alive, I'm working on a post- though it naturally won't be long enough to justify how long it took.  :-X

I have no doubt it's still alive, just taking a while because DH is busy. I'm not complaining, though.

You should get on the IRC more often.  :P

Also, can I assume Alexander (who is now retroactively inspired by Heavy Lobster) is tucked away in the cargo hold somewhere?

Hm...could I submit a sheet for the waitlist? I've just thought up a character for this and am now hitting myself for not joining.

Ayup. Do keep in mind that as a non-Retinue Member, it's non-existent mechanics-wise. Feel free to use it for RP, but yeah.

@Elf, feel free.

Mostly as an IC safety-deposit box for summoning/storing equipment and miscellaneous unimportant items, and location for crafting.  :P

Next obvious question: How hard would it be to make it a retinue member (assuming extensive upgrades, of course)?

I imagine it depends on what exactly you would have in mind. You'd have to complete some sort of mighty quest anyhow.

Name: Medea Alcris
Gender: Mentally female, physically neuter
Biography and Acts of Valor: Medea was created in a world where a faction called the Varek, a group of purist lifeforms that originated from a different dimension, had declared war on that dimension's Earth; it was designated Alrade. Alrade was untaken, and withstood the assault of the Varek, so they created sleeper agent robots to cause chaos in the world's population via infiltrating the planet's population and killing all humans in major population centres. Medea was one of them, a robotic replica of a kidnapped starfighter who was executed. She was placed into a small city, entered as a high schooler. However, as a scientific theory journal had theorized about robots in Alrade, Medea gained sentience and free will. She broke free of the programming placed on her, and eventually slipped into a normal life until the Varek finally pushed through the Alradean defences.

She recognized her makers, and wanted to fight them and retain her life. Medea applied with the starfighter academy to fight them, and often helped in the war effort, until the Varek assasinated the general of Alrade's defences. In a valiant attempt to fight the Varek off, Medea helped battle the Varek off, slaughtering many, including a high general of the Varek. Eventually, she was cornered, near an experimental laboratory creating secret weapons to fight the Varek. Medea fought the Varek pursuers off,  but was forced into one room, where a wall had a strange machine placed near it. Medea was smashed into the machine and shunted into another dimension...

The warp managed to fragment her memory, causing her to have retrograde amnesia, with some areas of her memory still intact and barely accesible. However, she retains her skills gained, as well as the knowledge to use her weapons systems....

Description: Physical: She was created as a robotic duplicate of a kidnapped late adolescent starfighter. Because of this, she was created looking fairly human for an Alradean, with blue synthetic hair, blue optics, and a lithe frame. However, internally, she is constructed from an unknown, but tough, metal and what seems to be a Varekian ceramic polymer, created to resist kinetic weapons and to disperse energy weapons to an extent. She also boasts two retractable wrist-mounted kinetic rifles, to damage the enemy as much as possible.

Mental: Due to the circumstances around her warp and the experimental nature of the machine utilized, most of her memory was rendered inaccesible or corrupted. She retains some access, but altogether, only retains gained skills and some fragments of her memory. Personality-wise; she is quiet and soft-spoken, shying away from social functions.

Aptitudes: Physique
Shock

Other: Medea has a great fear of being touched, ingrained by her Varek creators to prevent her submitting to being searched for potential Varek weapons. She has overcome this generally, but if the touching is severe, she can relapse.

I would appreciate if penguinofhonor and HailFire posted or atleast confirmed their interest. I don't expect a huge amount of posts right now, but please tell me if your characters should be thrown out of the airlock or not.

So, yeah, sorry about the whole taking ages to post thing; reasons.

Also, Xantalos, please keep the OOC in OOC... and the purple glow I put around the text makes it perfectly visible to me, even with the default white background.  :-\
