Land-bound anemone colony, and where did you guys come up with the idea that they would be heavy infantry anyways?
Poisonous tentacles.
Touche.
How would you apply the poison?  Would it be like jelly fish?  It would not be very effective against armored targets or the death clause of our friend.
Presumably the tentacles would be strong enough to crush.  And it'd be damn big, so it would take more death to kill it.
And what 'ee said.

We'd need to mix in some cephalopod or something, and I don't think their tentacles are homologous...

We're a god of life, we can do whatever the hell we want.  We could make a super-race of psychics where each one is worth a hundred men.

Bee stingers. They're tough as hell. They have to be. Also, they're like a hypodermic needle so they can pierce stuff easily.

Or yeah, we can go the route of Man-o-wars and box jellies and have the whole tentacle be stinging cells.

I'd rather go wasp, because bee stingers...y'know...rip out the bee's internal organs.

We could probably shape it like a porcupine quill, which has fancy shape stuff that lets it pierce stuff faster.

It's a hollow keratin tube.  There isn't much special about it.

Anything you want to do before the day concludes? If not I'll just advance to the next day so you have mana.

We could do mortal things.  Like build a house/meeting hall/barracks.  Let's have our followers help us with that too.

Either barracks or its pointless waste of mana.

Not mana, labor. And non-military buildings aren't a waste; points exist that aren't at the end of swords.

Ah, then I've misread post. If by labor I'm fine with them.

Finally finished with most of my finals stuff to the point where I can write an update :P.

Lord Lorimre! Awaken!
You slip back into the mortal plane to discover the sun has once again risen. You have just experienced your first Lapse. The subconscious of a deity wanders the higher planes endlessly. Sometimes, it is pulled into a plane where your presence cannot penetrate. This causes your consciousness to cease its function until your subconscious completes its journey. All deities occasionally go through this, causing periods of high and low activity, and it can last anywhere from an hour to millenia.
Looking about, you see that work is progressing well on your defense. A third of the grain stores have been moved into the village warehouse. The animals have all been driven into the village. The scouting party has just returned. The umbral cattle have already mated. The trapping party will return within the hour. As you return to the mortal plane you receive a wash of mana for the day.
