And raising the dead is in the realm of DEATH, not life, DEATH.  We can create life, not bring it back.  We can form new life on top of the old, but not bring 'em back.  What you're asking for is entirely out of our range of capabilities.

Yeah, that's exactly what I meant.  Better now?  I don't know how capable our mana is, but I'm sure we have a lot of dead bodies, considering the priest guy has the people sacrificing willy nilly.  By the way, I'm fairly certain that the people will rise against this god, at least in this town, considering it was only a recent conversion to his religion.

For reference, I mentioned Marus has a village near here, as well as a cluster of three towns around a lake further away.

Let's fortify the area, and ask if he's willing to engage in a proper war, and let the mortals do all the dirty work.

You've never pissed of a cow, have you?
Can't say I have, but you don't need a PhD in Agriculture to realize that no matter how angry the cow, it's not going to stop several armed, armored soldiers.
And the way you phrased that implies that you need to try to "piss off" a cow.

Let's fortify the area, and ask if he's willing to engage in a proper war, and let the mortals do all the dirty work.

Aside from asking for a war, +1

Again, why not just leave?  If he tries to follow us, he'll have to leave his domain.

Otherwise, because peace-mongering elvish hippies are dumb.  +1

Because we need to get mana and followers somehow.  And we appear to be shaping up to be a nice guy.

Also, yeah, war only if we exhaust all other avenues of approach first.  I probably shoulda mentioned it.
EDIT: Also, the reason for war between mortals is because we would probably be bent over and mind raped by a god who's evidently more powerful than us.

Why not leave? Because people have roots, you know. You don't get up and leave your house and home, fields and familiar land, where you were probably born and where you'll probably die, just like that.

Well in case of war we shall liberally twist space and reality, just like it was shown in picture presenting force. Made them unable to find way to us. Cast a spell which makes them always to come back to the same point. Twist reality so we can throw some poisons on use and run away while their pursuits find themselves next to the near mountain.

Actually, I've got idea against that enemy spell - stretch the space so it will be too far to affect our people. If its certain radius spell of course

Creating and maintaining a new pocket dimension might be a little out of our reach for the time being.  As with folding space to that extent.  If we want to do that we're gonna need some serious juice.  And I don't think we want to sacrifice anyone - yet.

Hey Rem, can we perform sacrifices of people who don't worship us?

Yes. However, the sacrifice in question must be their life, and you get considerably more juice if it's a follower. The topic was covered in the Temples Info Dump.
This includes things such as animals, as well.

Nay, not pocket dimension. Saving mana for a war and editing current dimension in case of need. We see oportunity like enemy charging upon us? We make them charge themselves.

Thanks for clearing that up.
I think we know what to do with prisoners of war now.

I imagine that it would be cheaper, easier, and more effective if we just used to force trait to knock their spines out their asses.
