Gay Christians "aren't allowed" either and I've met quite a few.

Geeks have a known hatred of Christianity.
Do we? 'Cause I'm both.

I'm now imagining a bunch of polyamorous people playing D&D together. It is an entertaining notion.
I'm now imagining the best porn plot ever.

... I actually know a polyamorous D&D group.
Ditto. Actually, one of them has been kinda coming on to me. She also makes chainmail as a hobby, spent 20+ years involved with SCA, and runs a sci-fi/fantasy writers' group locally. Sadly, our schedules have both been too busy to even have coffee much less anything more physical.
Upon reading 'Makes chainmail' my mind went 'Girlinhat?'
I almost put a disclaimer in there that it *wasn't* Girlinhat. Might be her long-lost twin (or mother....not sure how young she is). >_>

Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area, North Carolina. We kinda have a lot of geeks here. (And from my own experience there seems to be a correlation between polyamory, non-Christianity, and geekdom).
Tell me about it. At this rate I'm going to be the only monogamous atheist in the world.

Still me! Though i promise nothing.

I have poly-feelings/wants every now and again, despite being monogamous for the past almost-decade. Currently, I've gone almost 5 months without the poly-feelings/wants because I have all the traits I seek combined into one person. The only thing that my girlfriend (now that the cat's out of the bag, it's Wolfeyez,) isn't able to do for me is pander to my bi/pansexuality, and, well...meh. Honestly, I get the craving for manflesh every now and again, but they're a lot less pronounced than they used to be.

I believe the solution to that is cannibalism. It's the manflesh everyone can share!

I totally understand that. Some day hopefully, my inamorata and me can be together all the time. If that were the case, I might go back to monoamory just because she's *that* fulfilling, physically and emotionally.

Or we might go unicorn hunting, since she's bi.  ;D

I am also both these things, but this is an observation made of general geek culture and cannot be expected to be true 100% of the time.
Personally I would love for someone to pull out a study or something disproving me.

I'm an atheist, but I don't hate christianity specifically. I just wish people would stop using their religion as an excuse to be dicks.

I am a deist and I favor polyamory. I can understand why people might not wish to practice polyamory, but that shouldn't be a reason to bash it.

In many cases it may be a problem of general ignorance, where people simply don't have a good understanding of polyamory. At least I myself had that experience: I didn't understand why anyone would prefer polyamorous relationships until I read about it and realized why it could be advantageous and that it could work for just about anyone.

I think polygamy should only be allowed if all the people in the relationship are the same race.

Did I do it right?

There's actually a higher chance of getting a boy than a girl. Sadly, I learned this fact in my statistics class and not my genetics class so the prof didn't know why :P
What I've heard is that males die in the womb slightly more often, so it balances out to being roughly equal at birth.  Thus the explanation above for the 1:1 gender ratio fits.

I would have assumed it's more because boys are slightly more likely to kill themselves in childhood by doing something stupid. Cause seriously....contrast 5-year old boys with 5-year old girls. The boys are like little Darwin Awards waiting to happen. xD
