New script!

Called simply "emotions" for now, it allows you to add a thought to a unit. Syntax is like so:

emotions -unit (id) -thought (thought) -emotion (emotion) -severity num

Examples:




There's much more flexibility here than in the old thoughts system.

They add stress values based on severity divided by emotion_multiplier; emotion_multiplier is one of -8,-4,-2,-,1,0,1,2,4,8. Negatives are positive emotions (remove stress), positives are negative, neutral is neither.

And stress leads to... ? Tantrum spirals? I'm unfamiliar with the new emotion system.

I would call it "add-thought" rather than "emotions".

You should use forward slashes instead of backslashes, which should work on all platforms.

i am wholly unsure as to why there were backslashes in the first place

i'd guess it was the copy+paste after the first hacked-together thing I made to get night creature raws
