capable
at its job. A man who is
unidentifiable
is still perfectly
describable
with suffix-rhymes. Is it
deniable
to be completely
able?

But this man goes by a medical
condition.
Acquired by the cold, rather than
ammunition.
What little I know of him causes me
attrition,
one that's like a snake and its
constriction,
but I keep performing to this poem
addition
to fill the man with more
intuition
to gather more
position
around Bay 12 and cause
ignition
or our minds' who-you-are
indication.

His smiles, incessant, his glasses, are tinted,

This sardonic smile mirrors my own
On the thought of you and I.

Though you've been born an 'O',
While I am but a lowly palazzo,
No social taboo can prevent
My racing heart's stacatto.

Sour is the cream, but you are the sourest;
Verdant is thine skin an porous and honest;
Let us together adjourn to the stormy waters,
Or walk me down the plank this very moment!



(Terribly sorry, sirrah, but love poems are the easiest to write. Probably because they're all sorts of daft by definition.

Venus's got nothing on you
My full-bodied wonder,
Bedazzled eyes fail to grasp the bulk
Of this heavenly wanderer.

I covet your orb fiercely
To quench my thirst for roundness so celestial;
Oh, the curvacious bodies, daughters of gravity!
Lithe and firm, voluptously circumferential!

Gone are the rings, and saddles and planes,
And topologies of pretty faces;
Morpheus alone grants me my beauty fair,
In dreams I burrow through ellipsoidal spaces.

To probe the biosphere, to test the surface tension,
Where would I start, how could I hope to finish?
There's too much of you for more than one man;
All 4pi steradians I jelously cherish.

And if you were to reject me,
My eccentricity would reach unity;
I'd never more know warmth or shade,
Adrift in frigid, etherless serenity.

Pray tell,
Who begat thee, what sculptor carved this vastness?
Was it Eru or Eli, Marduk or ancient Chaos?
The Divine wobbles upon the tilted axis.

Thine potential well no mortal could escape,
Thus meekly I tread our worldlines' dictate;
Let me be your hermit, and you - my cell;
I'll eternally embrace my mother surrogate.

My old marbles are gone, but this one suffices,
Filling the void with desire so primal, so basic;
Curious compasses cry out to caress thee;
I strive to chart you with my geodesic.
