Logan orders the servants to use all teh cloth they can get to staunch the wounds of the wounded and calls for Cutters to deal with the wounds. .
He also tells his servant to help out with the wounded.
[5] The servants and a few others hurry to staunch the wounds, ripping bits of clothes off themselves, the tapestries, the drapes, the curtains, anything they can get their hands on to keep several people from bleeding to death.
[2] By the time the cutters arrive with actual bandages, four of the thirteen wounded have bled out. Their blood stains the stone underfoot, pooling around them despite the best efforts of many. The others are hurriedly triaged, but are pale and wane, or deeply unconscious.
[1] The four mad men die quickly; all of them struggling as the sawbones try their best to patch their wounds, screaming unintelligibly before bleeding to death or going into shock like the rest. Not one of these men and women survive.
Using rudimentary medical skills learned in the Order, Korolle tries to tend to the wounded.
[2] You immediately set to work on a young warrior who's horribly disfigured by claw and sword marks, his blood slowly starting to pool around him. The blood continues to flow, even despite the layers of cloth you use to try and hastily bind his grievous injuries, and, within minutes, he's bled out, grasping at your arm hard enough to leave bruises, but, strangely, unintelligibly whispering words of thanks.
[4] The next patient fares better, if only just. A man's death is slowed, if not forestalled by careful folding and application of his ornate, large, cloak, and intense pressure on the sucking wound, apparently from a shadow army spear. His breath is ragged, and harsh, but he continues to breath.
[4] You help as much as you can, working quickly. Soon the Cutters arrive, taking away those who survived and covering those that have died with sheets and cloths.
Action: Battle any lingering blue flames still present and try to keep them from reaching the ashes or the wounded, fearing summary reanimation. Order some servants to carefully collect the ashes in a large urn, without letting it touch their skin directly.
[5] The blue flames that flicker weakly on the weapons are put out with buckets of water and tankards of ice, the ice knocked off, and the weapons returned. A few flames weakly attempt burn towards the ashes, but are far too sickly to do anything before being put out.
[3] The two sets of ashes are placed into a single urn and sealed shut.[1] However, the servants, perhaps still in shock from all the corpses and blood and such around them, and hurrying far too much, let the ashes contact their skin, causing intense frostbite. Several will have to have blackened flesh removed, and at least two will lose one or both hands.
"Oooohhh, what the hell happened?" Raoul inquired, curious to as what happened after he fell unconcious.
[6+1] "Well, sir, you were knocked out by a drunkard who has been removed from his post for insubordination and drinking on the job..." a young man helps you sit up...or makes you sit up. "He threw you into a prison, and then, after a brief argument and a beat-down- of the guard, of course, sir!- you've been taken to the infirmary." he gestures around him, showing, surprisingly few men and women resting in one form or another, body parts swaddled with blood bandages. "We once more would like to apologize for this...travesty of assaulting your good self, sir. I do hope it won't reflect poorly on the palace guard."
