"There is using said warheads to dig artifical lakes and canals, but all things considered I highly doubt that is the Order's intention for them.

As for pwer generation, proper reactors are far more efficient in terms of energy efficiency. And the research avenues are limited compared to studying the theoretical physics as a whole rather than the explosive capabilities."

Again, the New Order has no wish to use nuclear warheads except in self-defense. However, we will not simply throw away possibly useful resources. Why would we wish to cause the destruction of humanity when our mission is to save it?

As an example, nuclear warheads contain an easily accessible source of quality nuclear power.
"I'm no nuke scientist, but A. isn't that a different kind of plutonium you need? and B. Why does it need to be in a warhead, then?"

Quote
The warheads also provide insight into new venues of research by our scientists.
"Such as? What happens when you drop a nuke on Florida?"

Quote
Threats are everywhere. Treacherous humans, imposters, temperature, pollution, predators, there are endless threats to humanity around us. The Great Plan will end this.
"If you wanted me to think you didn't want to nuke everything, you're doing a cr--bad job of doing so."

Again, the New Order has no wish to use nuclear warheads except in self-defense. However, we will not simply throw away possibly useful resources. Why would we wish to cause the destruction of humanity when our mission is to save it?
"Um, wouldn't that aim be better served by not leaving nuclear warheads in untrustworthy hands?"

While we note your concern over these nuclear weapons, we do not wish to part with them. I regret to say that we cannot disclose what we plan to use them for, but if it will appease you, we will disassemble half our nuclear devices, providing we retain control of their components.

"All signatory states would be pressed to intervene, either by embargo or military assistance. Military intervention assumes retaliatory conventional attacks by the victim. Dismantlement of biological and chemical weapons would be deemed priortiy, though due to the prevalence of nuclear warheads among our members dismantlement is something that can be discussed at another date."

"While the Mongolian Khannite would agree to a ban on nuclear-based weapons, we will not agree to eliminate our 'Khan's Revenge.'  Immediately after we pulled ourselves together, we were attacked without provocation by China, and developed it in order to prevent further strikes.  We will never do anything that would threaten the livelihood and safety of our nation, and if anyone tries to threaten either of those, we would do anything to prevent our destruction."

"Well, I guess you're going to have to play nice with the chinese, and perhaps start paying reparations to the victims of the bioweapon, now aren't you?"

"They came after us first.  We will remain peaceful if the non-agression pact that was being discussed before you interrupted with your demands is approved, but we will do nothing else."

"It seemed to be accepted by everyone; it wasn't official, but it was...ah, screw it.

"I move to the previous question. To clarify, the non-aggression pact one."

The New Order would not be opposed to a simple pact of non-agression, so long as no other ties are placed along with it.

"The same applies to the Mongolian Khannite."

"The Dominion will have to disagree to the non-aggression pact, due to the fact that most of the other powers here aren't as capable militarily. And at this point, we cannot guarantee that any future plans will not require aggression against another member of this meeting.

Unless the mongolian was to stop lying about the true intentions of the Sino-mongol war and admit that they were the aggressors, and submit to disarming their biologial and chemical weapons, we cannot commit to this pact."

At this, the general slammed his fist down with such force and anger that there were cracks visible on the table.  He began shouting, "DON"T YOU DARE INSULT US!  MY ENTIRE FAMILY DIED FROM A CHINESE ATTACK THAT OCCURED BEFORE THE BLAST!"  At this time, the general looked like he was ready to kill someone.

Calm yourself, General. There is enough tension here, and the purpose of this convention is to prevent another global war.

There is a murmur of assent from the Sky Lords' monitor.

"It's official: It was a good idea to not come in person. Just like I said...Yes I did, shut up!"
