I didn't lose any progress, although the item log looks a little buggy.

Maybe an issue with using the steam cloud vs. local saves?

Urgh, did the latest update wipe out your save file or something? I had a 100% unlocked game that had some pretty extreme records disappear.

I've seen some other folks over on Steam RoR forum complaining about that, but so far doesn't seem to be true for everyone...

I played for several hours yesterday and still failed to unlock the new guys. Thinking maybe I've lost my touch.

Also, been trying to get the Commando's "dodge 7 lethal attacks" achievement, but I can't seem to do it for some reason. I grab Commando, go to the first level, let a Lemurian take me down to below 10 health (since they tend to do between 11 and 14 damage to me) and then dodge their bites. I died quite a few times, but I'm convinced that I dodged enough attacks. I dodged at least fifteen bites while below 10 health. The little "dodged" popup thingy appeared and everything.

Dunno what I'm doing wrong.

i imagine it's way easier to do it with the low-life, high-damage challenge.

I guess it might be because my save was edited at one point? My system imploded at one point so I used an editor to attempt to recreate my file; if there was any detection, a few flags may have been set off.

Oh well; guess I'll work through it again.

His cleavers are a memory leak.

This is an impressive amount of developer error.

You misspelled seance.  Are possessing Draignean?  Are you actually a ghost in the shell? You have to tell us if you are, that's the rule

Don't think it does.

The XP problem was fixed last night. Thank goodness, I was really confused why the game had gotten so much harder.

I haven't managed to get past the first teleprompter because the boss generally kills me. Not sure whether I should activate it instantly or gain a few levels first m

In general I activate the teleporter asap on the first levels, but then run away from the boss (and in general).
The hordes of spawned critters give a strong gold income, and after the 30 sec are done you can kill them and the boss as slowly as needed.
If I somehow kill the boss quickly, then I still search the level (empty for monsters) for stuff to buy before returning to the teleporter.

This way the first couple of levels can usually be done very quickly (i.e. less time dependent enemy evolution). At the later stages I then usually switch and don't care about the time as it may already have reaced the max, and it becomes more important to get as much random equipment as possible.
