Had a good session today and unlocked the enforcer and sniper. Still working on the engineer.

The enforcer is amazing, but what I really want to play as is the alien-looking creature, how is it unlocked?
In other news goat hooves are seem to be really rare now.

They are rare because there is so many other items that you can get.

My only dislike about the enforcer is that the shield doesn't prevent monsters from moving past him and thus nomming at his squishy back and that most attacks actually have a hit radius that completely ignores the shield T_T

That and the timer to pick up the shield again, you hit it once by accident and your stuck to being hit over and over again for 3 seconds of pain...
He is still fun though...

I played the hell out of this game back in beta after helping with the kickstarter, now i've got to start from scratch, seems to have a lot of new classes.

Add me on steam for some Co-op, name on there is Ygdrad.

To unlock the Acrid, or how ever you spell it, on the third stage you sometimes get the sunken water level. If so. Aim to stay above water and go to the far right, you will find a crate thing there, interact with it and then fight him, after doing so he will unlock...

Haven't seen him yet, he may also be like the Acid Alien guy as in you have to find him in game...
If I ever get past the 3rd Stage, without being swamped by monsters like mad, Honest how do people do it...

Beating the game unlocked the sniper for me. I don't even know how I unlocked the enforcer or bandit.

What about the robot dude?

I don't know if it's the robot dude or even if it's a thing, but on the level with lava, down deep and to the right (you have to go into the lava and cross right for a screen or two), you come a room where there's an escape pod up on a platform that's generally too high to reach. However, I think if you had enough rusty jetpacks you could get up there (or maybe one of the other classes has some upward mobility). It looks like a thing that maybe you can interact with to free someone (bloated survivor?) or it could be nothing, like the large "teleporter" looking thing on the ice level.

On another note, I also had a random boss on the lava level that was probably for another unlock; it was called the scavenger or something? It had a health bar like the caged alien but was smaller than the usual bosses and seemed to spawn on its own. Not sure if it's just a "regular" kind of boss you may find on that level, but it felt unique-ish/different.

Scavenger is one of the normal bosses. You'll see them sometimes.

I finally unlocked the hunter and the engineer tonight. Good times.

For anyone who cares, there's a spot in the fungal caverns where you can live forever. It's the top-most jump pad on the far east end of the map. It's on its own ledge next to a separate platform where monsters spawn, but none of them can reach you when you're jumping on the pad. Magma worm and Wisp can't touch you there either. Most of the classes can fire down on the bunched up monsters. Fairly pointless exploit, but there it is. I'm sure there are more spots like that too.

Just beat the game playing with a friend, he was using the commando and I had the enforcer. I would shield him and he'd kill stuff, we split the items so most damage-related things went to him and I got most of the survival ones. By the end my enforcer was literally invulnerable. The run lasted 84 minutes of pure awesome entertainment.

The robot is on the final level hidden inside one of the shipping crates.
