(( Longer range please, I'm guessing I can only have one of the options otherwise Accuracy and reload as well, I was thinking more along the lines of an upgraded rifle but for 1 turn thats probably to much.

Dosciplined firing line and superior range, whats not to love about that.... unless of course your the guys marching towards said line in which case..... it was nice to meet you. ))

You'll run out of bullets before we run out of men. That's the nice part about being Sino-Russia.

Updated with Prussian research from before.

Even better, you can charge in a column towards the enemy (its faster).  It was all the rage in the civil war.  To bad they all died of being shot before they could use their bayonets (more casualties).   :P

Draft riots? Bah!

1) Continue the research into better quality steels for next research update.

2) Next minor update: Play the religion card in soothing the rioters: send the Imams into the streets to spread word about the need to protect our way of life through Jihad...

3) Major update as per last major update posted.

Oh, I see. The ottomans had draft riots. Did nothing happen for me, then?

(( Feel free to think that way, the main problem with it is I don't need to kill all your men.

Roughly 20% of any given army are completely willing to fight and die, kill them and the rest will break and run. I have enough bullets to scare you ugly barbarians back into your own lands :P ))

Okay, think of it this way. I got 500,000 men at my disposal. All of them are volunteers. That's how many people Austria got when they drafted everyone physically capable of fighting.

Besides, that's why we have commissars.

(( Well now we see if numbers means anything, in this time period numbers meant little compared to discipline and if my guess is right your army is going to be chewed up by the french. ))

We outnumber them two to one. We have disciplinary people who are helping command them. Aka samurai. We'll win. Why? Because we do it for MOTHER RUSSIA!

Research: After roads are built, develop better medical practice.

Military: Since he has an advantage, encircle but do not attack our enemy. Lay siege, prevent them from getting access to food, water, clothes and medicine. Do this for long enough to do heavy damage.

Long-Term Goal: Keep going for modernization.

Because trying to stuff Fate/Whatever's engrish and the title of a 17th century book on statecraft into Pokemon syntax tends to make the content incomprehensible.

And Cousin Japan!

Out of curiosity, do that samurai use Commissar techniques?
