(Hey GM, did my ships for Naval Officers trade go through with the Ottomans? Also did you make the secret roll you promised when I guessed the Iron Road correctly?)

FOR SWEDEN

Issue a peace offer to Denmark where if they agree to cede Norway, Iceland and Greenland, and agree to become a vassal state, peace will be declared, if they disagree, (They probably will) Invade Denmark
Raise army size by 20,000, conscript if nessicairy
Increase fleet by 10 ships
Construct 12 new cannons
Improve the roads
Upgrade current iron mines
Also reduce food exports and start stockpiling
Massive funding to increase the food gathering, and get those Norwigens working!
And how many casualties did I take in Norway?

Other actions PM'd

Increase army size by 50 thousand soldiers, and navy by 30 ships.
Expand all of the economies, improving legislative framework and infrastructure.
Military/research actions will be PMed shortly.

It is the complete turn.  I'll be posting the next one working on the update around 3 o'clock, my time.  But in other news we now have a player in Prussia!

Send diplomat to Britain.

Send a message to the richest 1% of my people, offer them stakes in the new factories we will be building and a portion of land in the territory we will conquer. Minamum donation of £100,000 the more they donate the larger the reward they earn.

Conscript a 250,000 civilian work force to construct a line of defensive earth works and forts along the western border and place 30000 men in them.

Construct 10 warships and 25 transport ships.

Build 5 factories to produce cannon and cannon ammo in the capitol city and produce as many cannons as possible in that year, send 2/5 to the defensive line to be placed in forts and the remaining 3/5 are to be sent to the main army.
They are also to hire experts to advance the design of cannons and rifles.

The main army of 170,000 men is to be gathered and fully supplied near the western border along with the cannon.
A large supply train with enough food, ammo, replacement weapons, spare horses and clothing is also to be prepared.

Build new factories in all major town to produce leisure goods for export.

A message is to be sent to the Russian forces informing them that I'll be joining them.

1) Continue recruiting and training soldiers, deplying them defensivley in the north west of Ottoman territory.

2) Continue building ships.

3) Deploy current fleet in Meditteranian waters off the coast of our north west territories.

4) Send agents out into our cities - "recruit" metalworkers, chemists, engineers and suchlike to work on improving our artillery technologies.

5) Begin propaganda campaign - our diplomats in neighbouring Islamic territorries are to being spreading malicious tales about the European Christian nations in order to begin rallying them to our cause.

More by PM of course.

Russia - check; forcing nobles into war will cause an uproar.
Ottomans - Check
Britain - check
Prussia - check; welcome to this game!
US - check; Secret rolls are this turn as I said at the bottom of the finished turn 2 post.  Ooph, offering free citizenship for Canadians. That's gonna spark tensions.
France - Nope
Spain - Check
Ethiopia - Check
Sweden - Check
Austria - nope
Ethiopia - Check
China - nope
Japan - nope

How'd we get thirteen players? I thought we stopped at ten and added 2.  No matter.  We still need several posts.

I got the UK to agree, did I forget to CC you on that PM? There should be no external tension, and I want Jefferson gone so internal tensions are good here.

Factories don't exist yet, Brood.

And they aren't being forced into war. It's just implied that they're lazy unpatriotic cowards if they don't join, who obviously have no skill as they're too scared to lead the men.

Smart of you Prussia. Smart. But you should be focusing on the French, really. For now, at least.

Edit: sending a diplomat does jack shit if you don't actually talk to me.

Factories don't exist yet, Brood.

Factories certainly do exist in this time period, and in fact are quite common and growing in number. The Napoleonic wars happened near the end of the industrial revolution. A scant five years after Waterloo and industrialization is already ending in parts of Europe. The steam engine is being used in industries, and water power can also provide impetus for these factories. The factories might not look the same as the ones today, but the shift from workshops and artisans was well under way during the Napoleonic period.
