I'm Russia, and my troops are moving through your country to get to Austria so France doesn't decimate you, too. Unless you want that to happen, I suggest you let them by.

As for factories, I said that because I remember Alamoes saying something similar.

Edit : Done, I'm still catching up on the thread so far but I sent you a message saying I'd be joining you, bringing along 170,000 infantry and I dunno how many cannons.

Between us I think we've got France a little bit out gunned.

On a different note, yeah this'll be a bit of a Waterloo.

Especially once I start training my infantry in kendo.

I only advertised my own and it's in my turn, I better start doing it by PM in future as well.

Or at the very least a school of kenjutsu my samurai may have brought over, modern kendo wasn't invented untill towards the end of the century we're playing in

These factories are cotton factories.  Textile factories.  They are not gun factories, and it just makes raising troops cheaper and allows conscription.  Soon you'll get steel factories that allow mass production of artillery and rifles.  For now you must stick to Napoleonic muskets and cannons.  I'll check for post count soon. 

I'm going on vacation for the weekend, which means no computer.  No computer means little updates except for on my phone, which will be sparse.  It also means we have to do something that does not interest me in the least FUN.  Then again, I don't even know what we're doing, so maybe it will be interesting.

Oh shit, almost forgot about this.


Set up forts and defenses along France's perimeters, especially around the east.

Develop the military technologically, deploy troops in defensive positions. (PM)

Improve governmental and citizen relations. We need our people to fully trust us, as they will be more willing to play into our hand if they like us. Parades, kissing babies, stuff like that.

Spread propaganda around France about the horrors of the Slavic countries, and their ill-meaning towards us.

Send Envoys to various countries to wish them well, along with other discrete matters.
