I dislike Pulaski. She replaces Tasha in the "ask dumb questions so we can explain what's going on to the audience" role, which I always feel is a poor way to explain things.

And she says all this dumb shit about Data long after questioning Data's sentience got old.

She was that woman with the afro hair right?

Wait... Data questioning? Wait a minute.

She isn't that one season doctor is she?

EMH Mk I, McCoy, and Crusher.  The other doctors just don't measure up.

I have no idea who Phlox is, but Phlox has the best name. <Indeterminate gender> gets my vote.

He's the ENT doctor. Denobulan, male.
Very cheerful and outgoing.

I would LOVE to see a scene where the EMH talks to McCoy.

Bashir has his moments, but... McCoy 1 is the only doctor of serious note.

But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

This, basically.

I would LOVE to see a scene where the EMH talks to McCoy.

That would be hilarious.

I voted for EMH. I just loved the idea of a hard-light hologram being such a vital member of the crew.

For me, it has to be McCoy and everyone's favorite unnamed Doctor not called Who, the EMH.  Pulaski, I think, suffered a bit from her character being analogous to Series 1 Riker in the level of producer influences seen in her early characterization.  Like Riker (who was basically Kirk by way of Decker, as mentioned), she was intended to ape McCoy, combining some technophobia (her dislike of teleporters prominent) and with Data serving as her Spock (though with most of the underlying camaraderie stripped out through poor writing and direction).  Like Season 1 Riker, it didn't work until the producers gave up on that track, but with McFadden more than willing to return, she didn't get to develop in her own direction as Riker did.  If Memory Alpha is accurate, Muldaur wasn't as happy with working on the set of the Enterprise-D as she had been on the original Enterprise, either, which probably explains why she was willing to not sign on for another season.
