Description of the land: Slightly less hot than it used to be, with many rivers feeding paltry farms, the land has many small forests but is largely dominated by farms along the rivers and desert everywhere else
Trivia: The empire relies largely on a "levy" system for its military, where by citizens may sign up for the levy in which they will train every Monday, and in times of war will come serve the army temporarily, in return these people receive a reasonable pay check every Monday and a larger one at the end of every war. Less than regular military personnel, but enough for many poor farmers to keep going on their small wages
