...There's no such thing.

(IIRC: The world used to be divided into First and Second worlds by if they were Capitalist/Communist, and the Third World was everyone else. Then the Soviet Union had a slight issue in that it no longer functioned. Since the First World consisted of most of the wealthy countries, the term was repurposed to mean such, while the Third World was everyone else--ie, the poor countries.)

Besides, the hypothetical Second Worlders would probably just have the same problems as First or Third Worlders in different classes.
...You could make an argument that China or something could be the "Second World," but even so China has some serious public health issues...

Alright, so in such case, Caveman wins.

Now what about statistically average military man? Since most astronauts have been members of the Air Force.

I actually do see Second World as a real thing. Corrupt European countries that still have respectable GDPs per capita. Ukraine, Belarus, Croatia, etc. I certainly wouldn't consider any of those countries, particularly Belarus, to be first world, but they aren't poor enough to be third world.

Well, average for what military and what division? And are all ranks allowed, or just privates? For that matter, do they need to be combat personnel? (Yes, I know that everyone in many militaries does get combat training, but combat positions also get experience, and they can't let the training rust.)

Well, the astronauts never would have. By my recollection, though I'm not sure, they were all pilots and officers.

I'd suspect spambot, but I recognize you.

Why do you say that?

One, that post was a bump, and two, it's like Risk 2.0 and is the best time killer I know.

Yes, yes, working on the turn.

On a side note. Changing the system, again. No arbitrary limits from next turn onward.

Sweet, no limits!

Still, I wonder what all the changes are.

No, arbitrary limits. There are still limits.

First, the system had unlimited projects, and rolls based on stats
Then, I added minusses for overabundances of rolls
Afterwards, I just limited the amount of projects.
Now, you get a certain amount of Industry/ Research points based on your stats, and most rolls are equal. Makes it easier for me, as I only have to look at them once per turn.

Ah, okay. Makes sense. Still liked the infrastructure stats and such though, made it pretty decent to see if the policies had any affect on them, and thus, a large impact on the nation.

Those are all still present. They affect quite a lot of things.

Basically, it just means you got more say in which project succeeds, and which doesn't.

Ah, okay. Sounds fair to me. And I'm actually faiurly happy with a "soft" cap on research and such, since we can push it ever upwards.

My happiness over the new system stems from the fact that we can now invest more points into more important projects.

Only problem I have with this system is that population appears to be a rather decisive factor. Then again, it's easier for lowpop countries to quickly change things around, and up economical and research efficiency.
