Air force: Debatable depending on purpose. You can strike with yours, but a plane cannot hold territory.

Continental domination is so 20th century. Our populations have been culled enough that you could get just as much use out of being efficient with the land you have as conquering new lands inefficiently.

I know more than several do. The UK wasn't the only nation to have nuclear weapons in the Cold War, but they were still considered a major player.
