Description of the land: Lush fertile soils with many boglands and huge forest's. Two citys Londain(partily rebuilt of old London), Sucessful for their industry and shipping and the Captail Dubh linn(formally Dublin) where the Monarch rains and their main supply of agriculture.

Name nation: the Second Mongolian Empire
Governmental system: Khannite
Location and size: A medium-sized country that lies within the steppes of Mongolia
Population: 1,742,937
Description of the land and a bit of history: The steppes of Mongolia were unforgiving before the winter and blasts, but the massive climatic shift changed the steppes into an area more akin to the midwestern United States, but due to the long period of unforgiving climate, there are few trees, requiring them to have to import.  Because of the climate change, China attacked the area, causing the mongolian people to fight back.  They barely drove China out by rapidly increasing military technology, and utilzing what is refered to as "Khan's revenge," which only Mongolians are immune to.  There is a continual resentment towards the Chinese because of the invasion, one that could boil over soon.

It's fairly freeform roleplay. Not quite as there's still rolled, but you can just describe any actions you take. You don't need to post an entire book, as happened in Godhood, but please use some descriptions. Makes writing turns much more fun and easier as well.

If I am right, I can start now. Anyway, I'd like to try and broker peace treaties with each of the other nations and start manufacture of quick land based vehicles.

Yes you can.
Though every nation starts at peace, kinda. Treaties between players depend on the players. Oh, and bikes are quick, landbased vehicles too, though for some reason I think that's not what you meant.

Oh yeah, 10ebbor10, the Mongolian people's mindset that I am utilizing is the type displayed in Ghengis Khan's strike upon Asia.  Due to this, things that would horrify people of other countries, they don't care about, along with turning retreat into battle tactics, etc.  (Ex. Cutting the heads off of dead bodies and leaving them in piles across the land of the country they are attacking)  Also notworthy, is that they have techniques of survival in extremely cold weather, due to the fact that the former climate routinely dropped below -90^oF each night.

I would've put these in my application, but there was really no slot for them.

No, he beat everyone until he died by a 'freak riding accident.'  He was on his way to conquering china at the time.  He would've gotten china earlier, but he had to hunt down and kill some rebels, which sent him through a series of events that had him capture Samarkand and the rest of it's Islamic province.

Just as a note, but it seems nessecairy to repeat it. This game is all about description, and less about numbers. You can't develop a +1 faster vehicle, or +1 AI circuits, or a +1 space program. State clear goals, and describe them. It doesn't need to be more than a few words, but in general if you're doing something I'd like to know what goes behind it.

Ie, if you're speeding up vehicles by improving their engines or lowering their weight, or installing hybrid turbo engines, or strapping rocket's to the roof.
And what kind of AI system you want. Basic optimalization routines, a smart chatterbot, management systems, semiintelligent spam bots, auto aim, recognition systems, decryption algorithms...
Or even when expanding a space program. What are you doing? More rocket's, better rockets, different rockets. And what are these doing?

Because really, If you don't specify things, I'm going to have to improvise, and then you end up with improved turnip growing techniques.

OH, and every turn is a year. You can do more than one thing at once.
