The Baby one of our soldiers carried around grew up to become a child. Mid sparring it jumped of the arms of the mother and headed straight to the booze stockpile.
Oh man that is hilarious.

Can I be dwarfed as Blue please? Any axedwarf will do, thanks!
Second that!
Is that a "Also dwarf me as a axedwarf named Blue" or "I also find that hilarious"?
Probably both.

Now, my downloading-ness is going slowly. Oh, right, I have three other downloads going at the same time.
Anyway, once it's finished, I shall start my turn. My goal is to improve upon whatever aspect of the fort I think is disgustingly horrible.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

I know I'm already the preacher, but if theres a spare spear floating around, feel free to make me an armed preacher. I'm always down for violence. I'll be all like:

"Stab Stab Stab, 'chtomb"

But I could do this on my next turn if nobody wants to be bothered.

Are you asking for a second turn?

I always seem to end up with a magnificent burial complex and nowhere near enough bodies to fill it, or far too many bodies and nowhere to put any of them.

I figured at the rate we were burning through overseers that we would loop back through the starting group. but yeah, if noone minds I'll step to the back of the line.

I'm back!

Glancing over the fort... I have no idea what anything is, because of some funky tileset issues, and I have no idea what anything does, because I haven't used Masterwork much before.

You have to set the GUI to the tileset the game was started with. You cant just change it mid-game.

This. We started of with Phoebus or at least it was the one working for me. And if you have no idea use the manual.
Oh. And I have high expectations in you. This Fort is in desperate need for some FUN! Not the lethal way. But the way which let us wonder how you pulled off to survive.

Phoebus? Ew. I'll stick with my deity soil.
Manual? Ew. I'll figure it out on my own.
High expectations? Ah, crap.

But the way which let us wonder how you pulled off to survive.
If I understood that correctly... yeah. We're all gonna die.

UPDATE ONE
Who's in charge?

"I... don't know," said Logem. Banik's question should have been easy, but the overseer changed every year and no-one had announced their decision for the new year.
"Really? I thought you would. I'll go ask Athel." Banik shook his head, and left Logem to his stonecrafting.
Eventually, he found Athel, who was getting ready for a barracks session.
"Hey! Athel! Any idea who the new overseer is?" Banik called.
"Uh. I think Bane said it was Zasit Tempted... something. Marks? Muskets? Marmosets? Something like that." Athel shrugged and hurried off towards the barracks.

Banik set off again, this time in search of Vendix, the bookkeeper. Who informed him that the overseer was actually one Casser Boltedwaxed, the Highlord of Blood.

******************************************************

"That sounds... ominous..."
"Yeah. I heard he's digging out a new room-thingy in the thingy."
"That's helpful."
