Indeed.
Baloun, you've missed your turn.
Bastus, you're up.

Guys, this stopped being funny four turns ago.
....well, that isn't entirely true. It's still kinda funny.

I always seem to end up with a magnificent burial complex and nowhere near enough bodies to fill it, or far too many bodies and nowhere to put any of them.

I will try my best.  ;D

Edit:

My first thoughts:
Better make a proper place for some Workshops, I can not find any of them.

The Workshop area is designated.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Just a few minutes in and I already have my first possesion this could turn out rather interresting.
Just realised that the bridge was linked to lever. Time to play hide and seek.

22nd Granite
I decided that we couls start to smelt some mor iron to start our steel industry. Therefore I designated some hematite veins to be dug out.

4th Slate
Due to the fact that our food stockpiles are running dangerously low I decided that some animals have to die for the greater good.

19th Slate
The Carpenter finished his mood and produces a really unmarkable bed. It is worth 6k Dwarf Bucks.

20th Slate
Two little outdoor farms (5x5) were build.

26th Slate
Migrants! 28 of them. But aside from one Mason and one member of the smiths guild nothing to mention.

4th Felsite
I ordered some Fine white bricks. I plan to get our first squad out of the dark depths of our fort into the sun to train them and get them out of their overfilled barracks.
In addition a little Panic Room was dug out deep underground to hide our civilians during attacks.

10th Felsite
A bigger refuse tockpile is dug out as the old one can not cope with the amount of junk this Fort produces.

11th Felsite
Elves! As I refuse to trade with these tree-huggers I will ignore them.

15th Felsite
Oh Armok! Necromancer Spearman. Joy overflows my heart.
I gues I will raise the bridge.

Okay this was hilarious on many levels. Most of them are wrong but who cares. The necromanecers picked of Dastot outside the gates and killed her swiftly just to get killed by the corpse they revived a few seconds later.

15th Hematite
Just discovered that we arent going to starve. Thats a load of prepared meals.

17th Hematite
I noticed that we have 4 Axe dwarfes in our meele squad. I ordered some steel axes for them and will sort them in to their own squad as soon they are finished.

2nd Malachite
I designated some better quarters for my bearded ego whos running around killing stuff.

4th Malachite
Migrants! 11. Two of them are Weapon Savants so I can not complain.

12th Malachite
Finally work at our new outdoor barrack started.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

15th Malachite
Decided that our Miners should not do anything else beside mining. We need those rocks!

26th Malachite
A Potash Maker is taken by a fey Mood!
Bring it on little guy.

5th Galena
We have a hoardmaster Ghost runnig around?!
Oh and the potash maker made a gypsum amulet which is again worth 6k.

18th Galena
Ice Wizard Siege! 2 pages all on mounts. Time to pull that lever again!
...
This Fortress is gold! They brought one necromancer with them. He revieved the corpse parts from the siege before and now they get their ass kicked, too.

24th Galena
The Siege is over, lost one Marksdwarf while we cleaned our entrance from the undead.

1st Limestone
Autumn arrived. I will make a break here and continue tomorow.
Nice year I had until now. Especailly the sieges were hilarious.

I am sorry if it was boring to read. But nothing really happend except for the sieges. Next update I will try to deliver at least a few more images.

I'd like a place in the queue.
My first succession game! How exciting! :P

I would suggest using the OP for the turn list as well, so people can easily see who's up and about how long someone would have to wait for their turn. Just an idea. :3

We have the defaults turned on. So it's not everything. Just the defaults.

I'd like a place in the queue.

I'll take a turn if you please. Oh, and sometimes it's hard to reach me between Monday and Wednesday, I'm pretty active otherwise...

Oh, and could someone dorf me as a child/baby that was born in the fort? I know it sounds odd, but it seems like an ideal placement for a temporary noble. :)
Logged
EDIT: Keas restricted to tropical forests where they belong.  Those evil, EVIL, foul little things.

Edit: The baby murderer became a friend of the fortress, which started a loyalty cascade, and now most of the squad is dead.

And I just got around to reading the update. Sieges abound. Very impressive.

1st Limestone
Here we go again!

3rd Sandsone
It would be nice if something happens.
I guess I will construct a Colosseum just for fun.

12th Sandstone
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
This could turn out ugly.
...
And it transformed into a goblin after killing a cat. The hunt is on.

13th Sandstone
He ran off the map...
I am a little bit disappointed right now.

17th Sandstone
Migrants! 11 bearded individuals just entered our force to strenghten our Workforce.

5th Timber
Our Furnace Operator Zagith Konadasob withdrawed from society.

12th Timber
The caravan from the Mountain Home arrived.

15th Timber
A goblin ambush!

16th Timber
Okay two goblin ambushes!

18th Timber
And it is over. We lost one or two unimportant dwarfes and pets. Nothing to mention.
But at least I know that goblins exist in this world.

26th Timber
We are running out of drinks as we lack the plants to brew them. As a counter measure I decided to use some more of our farm plots.

1st Moonstone
My time as an overseer slowly nears its end. Hopefully I can accomplish the tasks I set myself.

4th Opal
The Baby one of our soldiers carried around grew up to become a child. Mid sparring it jumped of the arms of the mother and headed straight to the booze stockpile.

7th Opal
I designated a area were we could move the metal industry to.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
The little Room at the top is the new play for the Slag Pit The room at the bottom is were the Forges and smelters will be placed the big gap in the middle will be for metal ore and flux stockpiles.

23rd Opal
The barracks are finished.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Also my personal quarters.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

25th Obsidian
It seems as one of our metalcrafters had a mood while I was not payint attention. The result is spectacular. A Iridium Bracelet worth 121200 Dwarf Bucks.
Good job, little guy.

1st Granite
And with this my time as an overseer ends.
Here is the status of our Fort.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The second half of the year was rather uninterresting.
We are running out of booze so this is something the next overseer should watch out for.

Batus

P.S.
Here is the save. Had to use another hosting service than dffd as it won`t work for me and I have no idea why.
Sorry.

Fantastically done, Bastus. Hopefully you've broken the curse.

Next up is Insanity Incarnate.

And again, if anyone who missed their turn wants another, all they have to do is ask.

Is that a "Also dwarf me as a axedwarf named Blue" or "I also find that hilarious"?
