"Nice jellyfish...friend?" the large man slowly gets out over his nervousness. He should probably catch up to the group. "Well...do you have a name? I'm John. They call me Jacob. Can you come with me?"

Try leading Jellyfish towards rest of group, and talk to it.

Nothing here folks.!

1. Player Actions

Scapheap(Clair Adams)
Look in the opened crates
(-): You go and take a look in the crates. One crate contains food, one crate contains clothing and one crate... a device?

There a multiple warning labels on the crate but no label where it mentions the name. The device is held in place by a gyroball like system, so it seems that the device is worth something or very important. The device is small enough to be held in one hand and resembles a pyramid.

Dwarmin(Kathryn Fry)
Kat walked over to the shuttle-ships, running her hand on the hull.

She felt a certain sense of wonder, she knew was misplaced. In these times, such tiny ships must be common-but to her, it was new. It was the stars that were calling...to explore.

And what was space but another sea to sail upon?

Action: Investigate the shuttles and their interiors, learning about how they work. Ask the computer for any help I need.
(): While James sits in his boss chair, you study the rest of the shuttle. The ship is made from a different metal than the base itself, it's actually quite large from the inside and you find a few emergency kits containing food and medical supplies. Though your attention is quickly taken by the console which just finished booting.

"Name destination course..."\

eh... you decide to not call out any names yet, it might accidentally start.

penguinofhonor (Doris Finnegan)

(-):

Spaghetti7(Kurtis Blake)
"Well, that wasn't too stressful, was it?"

Kurtis takes a look at the crates in the hanger. If it's nothing interesting, he moves to the armoury.

((I think the whole organisation of this thing is nice. Can't think of anything I'd change))
(-): You nearly leave when Clair finds a device. Together you discuss what this device could do, but unfortunately you have truly no idea. You then decide to pick up the device, and it's responding. By starting to glow in between the crevices in the device.

You quickly put it back and it stops glowing. You didn't feel anything change while holding the device, but who knows.

Rolepgeek(Johnathan 'Hefter' Hennson)
"Nice jellyfish...friend?" the large man slowly gets out over his nervousness. He should probably catch up to the group. "Well...do you have a name? I'm John. They call me Jacob. Can you come with me?"

Try leading Jellyfish towards rest of group, and talk to it.
(-): You want the jellyfish to follow you and it does. Surprisingly it just sticks it's tentacle on your shoulder and floats with you to whatever direction you're going. Underway, you try to talk to the jellyfish.

"Can you talk?"
The jellyfish responds by glowing slightly green.

eh.. Do you have a name?
The jellyfish glows red.

Since this is getting no where at the moment you decide to finish by asking the final question.
Are you hungry?
The jellyfish responds by glowing pink-red, just like earlier.

Apparently the jellyfish does understand you, but you don't understand the jellyfish. The way of communications, is very... basic. If you only could decipher what the colors mean.

Persus13(James Macalroy)
Walk to a shuttle. Investigate if it needs repairs, has tools, or anything dangerous aboard.

(why are we going to the armory again? Aren't we supposed to be off planet?)
(-): With Kathryn, you inspect one of the shuttles. Kathryn is already inside the shuttle, investigating the interior and the contents of the shuttle. You however, take a seat in what looks to be the captain's chair and activate the console. You see all kinds of data flash before your eyes, but you manage to read the following things.

Fuel...100%
Ship integrity...100%
Engine status... Ready to go.
Automatic destination... Not present...

Kathryn quickly joins you, after the console finished booting.

"Name destination course..."

You are immediately asked for a destination course.

Eh. You decide not to screw around, cause maybe you'll accidentally activate the shuttle.

Kat resisted the inane urge to start jabbing buttons, instead speaking to the AI.

She adjusted the seat with a small smile, which was as good as claiming the craft for herself.

"Aurora, do you suggest anything that we should do or need to do before we leave this place?

Also, I'm interested in what we heard earlier...what exactly is a proto-human? What is the extent of...our changes? Exactly what was the intention of our re-creation in the first place? I'll understand perfectly if you can't answer me exactly, due to lack of knowledge or programming, whatever, but any help would be nice.

I don't feel very different at all, I mean to say.

And finally, weren't there supposed to be automatic destinations set into the shuttles? How can I view those? Can you give me a rundown on how to fly this thing?

...you can call me Kat if you like, instead of subject, too."

Action: Questions!

Try to get a basic feel for the shuttle controls and systems with Auroras help.

"Alright Kathryn, acknowledged. Proto Humans, are a product of human and ancient alien dna splicing. Apart from having all the normal human characteristics, it is unfortunately unknown what else proto humans possess. Though Doctor Staal has theorized that proto humans, can in theory, operate the alien devices without any trouble. Something that generally requires years of research or some very rare and exotic particles. That's why he took the wager of creating , you.

You are potentially the worlds most dangerous weapons and most valuable commodity that any race would want to have. That's all i have access to from the database.

About the shuttle, yes there are automatic destinations. But they are not set. I cannot access the shuttle at the current time, but if you type in destinations, it should show a list of possible destinations. Also, you do know how to operate this shuttle. That data was injected into your mind during your wake-up sequence.

But you cannot remember it, because you are suffering from cryo-amnesia. However, if you focus, you'll remember."

"Kurtis, the device is from unknown origins. It's properties are unknown and it is a alien device from nature. The database suggests it's an artifact."

(-): You look around for some rags and remember that Johnathan found a labcoat earlier. You kindly ask him if he can tear the pocket of the coat and he does.

This time you pick up the pyramid device with the rag and it doesn't glow.

So it works on touch. You decide to wrap it in the rag and take it with you.

You gained Strange device.

(): [look at the Tio volatis Tab]
Focus eh? You take a deep breathe and think. You look at all the handles and buttons that are there. Then it happens, you remember. All the memories start flowing in, image by image, you learn how to operate the shuttle. Afterwards you have a major headache and feel like having red a couple of hundreds of books.

So you decide to lie on the ground for a while, while the pain goes away.

Listen to what the AI has to say about the thing. Take a glance in the armoury.
(-): [Look at the tio Volatis Tab]
Aurora wasn't that helpful with that, but it's time to check out the armory.
You walk to the iron door, you imagine rows and rows of guns and equipment. When the door slides open, you are surprised by a medium-sized room with a few cabins. In the cabins are terminals like in the cell room.

You are surprised but there is probably more than meets the eye here. You step into one of the cabins and look at the terminal.
There is one button there, 'Start Sequence'. You push it and the cabin closes.

You can hear a hatch opening from the back, quickly you feel a sting in your neck. Followed by a large variety of holograms appearing, holograms of weapons and armor. The holograms stop when a list appears on the terminal.

"Pick suit type."

There are 3 Suit types, Combat, Support and mechanical.
Combat: Suits in this category are meant for combat use, thus have often increased armor, movement, tracking system and a variety of other things meant for combat. However, these suits often lack supportive abilities.

Support: Suits in this category are meant for supportive roles of combat suits. These suits have increased utility, energy storage and a variety of other things meant for supportive abilities. However these suits lack the heavy combat abilities of the combat suits.

Mechanical: Suits in this category are a mix between combat and support, they offer the nice things of both combat and support suits, but to an lesser extent. Suits in this category are meant for specialists.

Rolepgeek(Johnathan 'Hefter' Hennson)
"Uhh...I don't really know what the colors mean. How about this. Green for yes, red for no. Blue for you don't understand, maybe? Can you glow blue? And if you don't have a name...I'll cally you Jill."
(-): Shared turn with Persus13/ Together you start solving the mystery of the Jellyfish colors. You both start asking the jellyfish questions. The jellyfish responds in the same colors as earlier, so you aren't getting anywhere.

Suddenly James got a idea, he borrows some food from Kathryn's jar and offers it to the jellyfish.  It glows pink-red, he repeats it twice and the results is the same. James draws the conclusion that color pink-red means  'To like something/someone, or happiness', James tries the same experiment but with some random items that are not food. The jellyfish responds 3 times with green. The color green means, 'Not interested, don't like, or maybe don't know.'

After that James runs out of idea's on how to test the jellyfish further, but you do get some idea's.

You point at James and asks. 'Did he give the the candy bar?', the jellyfish glows red. You point at Kathryn which is lying on the ground, 'Did she give the candy bar?', the jellyfish glows red. You then point at yourself and repeat the question, however this time the jellyfish glows blue.

You assume that red means 'no' and blue 'yes'.

So you think that the colors go as following.

Blue = Yes
Red = No
Pink-red = Like/yummy
Green = not interested/ curiosity/ ??

Persus13(James Macalroy)
Exiting the shuttle, James walks towards Johnathen to help him out. "Hey, askit a question you know it'll say yes too, like are you a jellyfish? and she how it responds."
(-): Shared turn with Rolepgeek.

Kats mind was buzzing with dozens of astral navigation treatises and transorbital maneuver manuals, and she closed her eyes a moment-letting it all sift through...

When she opened them again, she remained laying on her back-it was all still there-and though she had never flown a shuttle before, all the knowledge was there...just waiting to be used. But now there were other things, as well. Faces, voices...rising up from her past life. Becoming as clear as if she had just been around a week ago. Mostly bad things...but good things...and mostly, she didn't want that right now. So she got up with a grunt, arching her legs, and rising to her feet in a single smooth leap.

Hmm...she certainly couldn't do that before...

She went back to the control panel, typing quicker now. The formerly arcane buttons, dials and levers flew expertly in her hands.

"So Aurora, you mentioned other...Races. Here I am, thinking Humanity is still alone in the universe. Can you list down the major ones we might encounter out there? Any ones to avoid in particular?"

Action: Question!

Also, try to recollect destinations and cross reference them with Aurora, figuring out where exactly we have a choice to go.
