You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

In a sterile laboratory...

The coated man watches you for a moment, before nodding.
"Good. Looks like you're all awake. At least awake enough to understand me."
The haze of unconsciousness has faded away from your eyes, letting you see him in detail for the first time. It's not like there's all that much to look at, however, he's thin as a rail, somewhat tall, and gangly. His arms seem too long for his body, and they're constantly moving, adjusting equipment, correcting rimless, rectangular, glasses, or simply tapping them on his leg. Occasionally, his hands move up to wipe his unkempt auburn-red hair out of his face.
"Oh, yes, if you have any questions, I can try and answer them for you while I take some readings. But, also, you guys have got to be fast. You'll have to leave as soon as I'm finished here, to go get equipped. So, if you could wait to get and know each other until you're on the plane, that'd be great."
With that, he turns around to face a terminal, tapping on the keyboard, pausing occasionally to glance up at the screen and write down on a notepad.

Enquire as to what equipment will be available to us, and how much of it. Then speak to the others, making sure to highlight my own intellect.

Alex tried to give the lab a closer look, giving a cough into the crook of his elbow. After a moment, he started popping joints as he finished up looking around. "Leave? So soon? Eh." Sounding annoyed at first soon degraded into apathy. "Who are you?" Alex stated bluntly, the question directed at the coated man.

"...Mph? Where are we? What's going on?"

"Well, I think you're classified as special forces, so you'll be able to choose from a lot of guns. Probrably some knives too. I don't really know, that's not my area."

"Me? Oh, I'm just a lab assistant. Nothing too special."

"Oh, so you weren't awake. Well, you've got some elements in you that make you stronger, faster, or smarter than a normal person. We want to investigate those elements, so we're sending you out to fight for us."

"Assistant? Where's the main guy?" Alex glanced over at the other three, puzzled for a moment as he tried to recall vague memories. "Where are we being shipped to again? Some suspicious socialist shindig in the south?" McPherson attempts to stand if he was sitting, or if not just stretches.

"That'd be Dr. Baker. He's looking at some data right now, actually. That's why they sent me in instead."
Ask the man how long it will be until we arrive.
"Well, it's about 2500 miles from here to there, so once you get out of here, it's a few flights. That's why we want to get you out of here as soon as we can."

Follow everyone else around, trying not to get in the way or draw attention to myself, but making sure I notice everything around me.
