You wake up huddled under a desk, needing clothes and covered in blood. Someone with a light's nearby.

Aaktuvus quietly wriggles out from under the desk and peeks over the top of it.

Aaktuvus:
Lying on the desk is a severed hand, that could be a maroon Demonblood's hand, a blood-covered Demonblood's hand, or both. You, being nocturnal in nature, can make out colors and shaped decently enough. The hand clutches a knife in its, as of yet, un rigor-mortis affected hand. You still can't see the light-person.

Ith shifts around uncomfortably. Between his talking to no-one in particular and his attitude, Ralu was not shaping up to be the most sane person in Ith's eyes. He cautiously reaches for an outfit and outs it on, keeping his eyes trained on Ralu all the time.

Alex decided to take the book and the note, and keep looking for a way out.

Clothe yourself and toss the crate at Ith.

"Get dressed and give that to Indigo."

Well, you're stuck with eachother until one of you dies. Anyways, Ralu's outfit fits well, but it's just a bit too tall on Ith.

Alex:
You pick up the note and the book, the book being titled "Cagedog's Key".
Since the death of almost all of the life native to earth, some of the more common animal names have taken on new meanings or have been applied to new animals that resemble them. For example, "dog" is used as a slur for a member of the poorest classes in any civilization. It can be combined with the word "cage" to be a word for a slave or a prisoner.

You still can't seem to find the door, as you are distacted from your searches by tripping on something heavy and made of some dense metal.

Alexander sees that he tripped on a metal pipe of useful size.
Aaktuvus slides the knife out from the hand's grip quite easily.

Head towards and open the door to our left at the end of the hallway.

Ralu:
You walk over to the door and open it. It appears to lead to a large barracks. There are a large amount of corpses lying in the beds and a small pile of footlockers in one corner of the room. There are two other doors. One door, on the same side of the room , farthest out, is blocked by rubble. The door centered on the wall is closed and a sign on it clearly reads "North Armory". The handle is missing. The lights in this room work enough to make out facial features easily.

"A pipe? That would be useful, incase whatever did this comes back."
He picked up the pipe, and tried to find a light switch.
