Oooh, yeah, this fight IS going to be interesting. This is why I think this game has survived the longest- good, quick, mecha* fights! Who dosen't like mecha* fights? Probably mimes. But still. Mecha* fights.

Nope, dosen't quite work like that. Firstly, you have to actually reach 0 Core HP, then you get a free action as if you had your normal HP (no penalties for the HP drop), then your core finally gives up. Regular actions. You might just be boned in this fight.

The Valkyrie surprises Juan with a long jump forward, putting the Starship Trooper out of cover once again!
Before Juan can react, the Valkyrie fires it's shotgun!

Four quick blasts come from the shotgun!

Juan can't hope to dodge, and feels his Warframe get knocked over violently! Holes in the metal have breached directly to the cockpit and sunlight shines in! The computer systems on his Warframe give one last order before going black- Survival Drive is activated!

Juan attempts to charge forward, his Warframe miraculously returning to it's feet and charging forward while Clair's shotgun reloads!

Juan manages to slam into the Valkyrie, the weight of his frame heavily damaging the radar system and surrounding armor of the Valkyrie! (Armor 6HP, System broken)

Juan's pilot pod begins to disengage, but Clair's non-shotgun arm flings the Starship Trooper violently off of the Valkyrie, sending it skittering across the road! (6) Juan gets very lucky, as his Warframe lands face-down, allowing him to manually escape.

Meanwhile, the Vulcan and Drake go at each other once more! Despite it's weight, the Drake gets moving somewhat faster than the Vulcan and pulls off the first shot! The Drake's systems hum loudly as it levels it's large machinegun... (2,4,4)+2
(5+1) 10 vs 6

Again, the Drake's rounds seem destined to never connect, but a combination of experience on Worshak's part and powerful cpu control force the Vulcan to take rounds. More powerful bullets shred through the Vulcan's armor, completely shredding it, as one bullet passes directly through the Vulcan's cockpit! Lucius is shaken, but unhurt. (1HP Core Left. Fancy manuvering will fail. All Rolls -1.)

The Vulcan retaliates as soon as Worshak's machinegun stops firing, another triad of missiles flaring from the Vulcan's launcher!

It seems that the amount of damage dealt to the Vulcan was too much for the computer guidance systems on the missiles, as one veers wildly off-course. One causes a shower of rubble to hit the Drake ineffectually, but one manages to hit one of the Drake's legs, just barely managing to rip off a small chunk of armor.
(the Drake has 2HP armor left.)

The Vulcan takes cover again, nearly unable to continue fighting. Lance in hand, Lucius prepares himself for what might be a final confrontation.

You can get a new one, yeah. Your character stays the same if you like, and you can grab whatever kind of mech you want. There may be a bonus for survivors of the arena- after all, you've piloted before...

I apologize for the lack of updates, but this is not dead.

I've been working on it in my downtime, which is too little and spread out to do an error-free update, and there may be something coming to change up the way Warframe selection is done. More on that later. Probably Friday. I'd love to do updates more often, I just... can't. Which sucks.
