Wasn't entirely sure what you were asking for. This is my first time in a LYLO situation with complex roles, so forgive me for being a little unsure about how to handle a massclaim.

My totem animal is the Hippo. I'm essentially a paranoid war vet. I agonized over whether or not to claim this at game start, but decided in the end to make a call on how likely I was to be targeted on a night-by-night basis. Both nights I gambled that no one but scum would have a good reason to target me, and so far nobody's interacted with me at night.

My other power is one that's worth keeping secret until everything's on the table. But it's also something easily proven.

Now. We will be lynching Captain Ford today. As of Meph's next post, you really won't have any reason not to. If the game is still going on, I will be killing Deathsword tonight. Only then will I allow myself to die.

I really have no excuse for my terrible performance this game, but I'll be damned if I'm not going to find scum before I'm lynched.

Ford, why keep the other ability secret? How does it help town to keep things secret in a massclaim?

Also, could you detail your "paranoid wart vet" ability?


As for my claim, collecting the votes of the dead and using them are two separate abilities.

So you've got the day ability to use a ton of votes (how many do you have right now, by the way?), and a night ability to...what, exactly? Do you select a dead person and take their vote, or do you get 'em all?

I am a Whale.  On one night only I can dive below the spirit world, making me immune to all actions and allowing me to see who's visited me.  I am also huge so my vote cannot be changed unless I want it to be.

On night 1 I dived and saw Vector and Tiruin visit me.

I don't really buy Captain Ford's claim because there are already two other roles who are like PWVs (me, Solifuge).

So you've got the day ability to use a ton of votes (how many do you have right now, by the way?), and a night ability to...what, exactly? Do you select a dead person and take their vote, or do you get 'em all?
At night I automatically get the votes of whomever was lynched the previous day (Dariush and Vector). That means I have 3 votes (my own, and those two)

As a separate ability, I can spend the collected votes to increase the "weight" of my vote. Example: if I spend both of them, my vote will count as 3. Unused votes stay stored.

My animal is the Vulture, by the way.

Captain Ford: Urist Imiknorris


  Urist Imiknorris stands up, looming over you. His eyes darken for a moment, and a great presence enters the room.

  "I possess the power of the Giant Huntsman Spider! Tremble before it's might, and shudder for I am under it's protection! Remove these stones from before me. I shall not be dismissed so lightly!"

  You feel spiders all around you. A million eyes gazing out at you, hungering. From the corners of your eyes you see scuttling motions, shadows that vanish under furs and behind people's backs.

  Shuddering, you swiftly pull back your votes from Urist. When you do so, the eyes seem to turn away from you, and you sigh in relief.

Urist Imiknorris cannot be voted again this Vote Phase

Day 1 Dariush was lynched. At the end of the night 1 I got a PM from Meph with flavour and information that I had aquired his "voice" (vote), same thing with night 2, but Vector instead. This is one ability.

The other ability is that I can spend these votes to make my vote for the count as 1+X (where where X is how many votes I spent) instead of just 1 for the rest of the day. Once I spend them, they are gone. These extra votes will only appear in the final votecount. I do not know if I can hammer with them or if they just apply when the final votecount is done.

MOD:Can these scavenged votes be used to hammer? (example: UI needs two votes to be hammered. I spend one vote and then vote for him. Will he be hammered?)
