Well i guess my sheet is finished for the moment... i may decide to flesh it out a bit more with a physical description but... sleep

Is something like "she can take it" an acceptable specialty?
Badically it would be if a critical system would be destroyed it gets an unmodifiable penalty to use instead but would still be destroyed if struck again

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

I'm sure we could figure out something for any specialty you might choose.

The specialty is in truth, more or less a roleplaying bonus and one that should fit the character you create.

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

I'll give it a max of 3-5 days then start the game.

All right, I'll probably close sign ups and start the game in 12 hours or so. If you're going to submit or touch up your sheet, best do it now!

This is going to be the OOC thread, so feel free to use it for that-we'll keep IC chat to the game thread.

I'm really wondering how this will play out..sounds like a combat-oriented RTD, but the pilot here is Dwarmin :D

I just want to know when exactly you claim Taricus has laughed. I assume you have some kind of evidence to back this preposterous claim up?

I had to admit, both your and SC's comments made me laugh.

PROOF'D.

@Skyrunner: I have it on good authority you will be strongly considered. :V

Uber late to the party, but finally got off my ass enough to think of some aspects of a character. ^^^;

Pilot Name: Scott Robinson
Callsign: Cowboy
Bio: Scott's a 27-year old drifter roaming from planet to planet. Born on the frontier town of New Damascus,  he grew up in a rough and rowdy, lawless environment. From a young age he learned to handle guns, knives, and other fighting equipment, and although a mellow and level-headed country boy he developed a definite taste for violence - usually non-lethal bar room brawls, but he's sent people to hospitals to get bullets pulled out and cuts stitched up... and he's been there a time or two himself. He stole a fighter-class ship when he was fifteen and took off to find other planets to knock around on, learning how to pilot it and earning his keep over the next decade or so. He's developed into a pretty good pilot and a great escort fighter.
Skill Bonus: Marksmanship.
Specialty: Cowboy's specialty is shooting down targets harassing his allies - particularly the bigger ships he's protecting. He got his callsign for 'herding' freighters, after all.

Well, it came down to Sercon Vs Tiruin for the last slot...choosing between my two friends...this is drama...

...

Being weak and spineless, I just decided to make it six players instead of five. :V
I always do this in my games...

Players Accepted
1. Unholy Pariah
2. lawastooshort
3. Digital Hellhound
4. Skyrunner
5. Tiruin
6. Sercon

Main game thread will be up as soon asap.

Of all the submissions, which were appreciated, I was most conflicted about leaving Harry Baldman out of the intial lineup. So, he'll get first spot on the waiting list.

You other guys could stand to be a bit more through with your chars-and fix spelling mistakes of course-or just make them more intriguing for me as a GM.

@Scapheap: One line isn't really that through. Not that short is bad, but, it seems like you didn't put in much effort. And its sort of odd he just showed up on the ship, when the intro states you've all at least had some training and are just considered to have graduated. Also what is 'Macguying'. ???

@Penguin: Again, lack of initiative here. It just didn't grab my attention as much as the others. And you stole my second post and didn't say sorry :P

@Borno: This could have been chosen, but it seems awfully...boring. If your guy is morally conflicted, why? Evil for evils sake? I dont know how to GM for you, considering your actions will most likely be completely irrational-my play style is to the logical and not "A pod full of schoolchildren? FULL AUTO FIRE!"
