Better watch yourself son.
Spoiler: See that gun? (click to show/hide)

February 10th, 1937
King Aleksander II has risen to the Serbian throne and adopted constitutionalism! Bah, we'll subject those weaklings under the Greater Bulgarian Empire soon enough.

February 19th, 1937
The neutral Italian federation as been attacked by the evil socialists in southern Italy and France! The Syndicalist threat grows stronger...
Also, Bohemia has left the Austrian empire and Poland has annexed Galicia.

February 24th, 1937
Terrible news this week... syndicalist rebels have risen in America! We'd offer help to the legitimate American government, but we must concentrate on our own defense.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

February 27th, 1937
Certain Bulgarian refugees have begun fleeing the turmoil in America! Scientist John Atananosov has been seeking asylum, we gladly welcome him aboard.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Also, other factions, the reactionary American Union State in the south and California have risen up in what's been dubbed the second American civil war.

April 1st, 1937

As the world begins to descend into chaos: war rages on in Italy; Taiwan and Korea have risen up against Japan, joined by Transamur on the Russian pacific coast; The Russian government is winning against the Soviets, but the Russians have adopted some bastardized "radical socialist" government... what's the point of the revolution?!

Spoiler: Europe (click to show/hide)
Notice the red in Russia, the soviets. The green in Italy is the monarchist faction of Italy, still barely holding on.

Spoiler: America (click to show/hide)
Dark blue is the legit American government, red are the commies, lighter blue is the authoritarian faction, New England is neutral (protected by Canada) and The Californians are neutral and hold Alaska.

Spoiler: Asia (click to show/hide)
Siberia is a complete mess. The Japanese look like they'll take control of Taiwan and Korea easily, but Transamur (Grey country next to Manchuria) may remain independent.

I think it's easier to do bite-sized updates of about 4 months each from now on. Also, nothing much is happening at the moment in Bulgaria itself, but stay tuned! If I'm not explaining what's going on in the world thoroughly enough, let me know.

I felt like you did a fairly good job with keeping us informed about the world with the last update. Will be following, never played HoI2 or mods with a non-great power.

Tensions are rising between The French Commune and the German Reich! War may be immanent.

Meanwhile, the Italian front has completely shifted as monarchists have occupied southern Italy, save for Sicily. They may still be able to hold out.

Only 2 months, but holy shit a lot happened. I think I'll leave it at that for now. Should I pull the troops off Albanian/Turkish border? We've also got 4 militia divisions scheduled to be ready by late June/early July.

Might as well pull troops off the Albanian/Turkish border, after waiting a few days to make sure the Ottomans don't honor their alliance.  If the Ottomans are foolish enough to declare war on you, they'll be ambushed by most of their neighbors and probably destroyed, so don't worry about them too much.

How's the terrain on the border with Romania/Serbs? Defensible?

If you're reasonably sure that Albania or the Turks won't jump on the bandwagon then yeah pull them out. But then again if they do declare war it probably won't matter much because that'd be a helluva fight.

The grey is all mountains and the brown is hills. The beige is plain and that green in Varna is forest. Romania is basically a flat plain and Bucharest is right there on the border. Note that there are no Ottoman troops visible other than a garrison in Albania. Although I'm sort of wary about the Greeks doing something stupid, I'd leave the 3 militia divisions on the Albanian border and move the others including near Turkey up to the northern front. The question is where to strike; my plan would be to flank Bucharest along the black sea coast with the bulk of the southern reinforcements and hold the line in Serbia. But I'm open to suggestion.

Next update will be either tomorrow evening or Friday.

As long as you don't have to attack over those rivers, flanking by the coastline seems like the way to go. Are you going to use those two cavalry corps' to defend or will you use them as your vanguard? Gosh darnit they're outdated. I guess they won't be charging headfirst into enemy territory.

yeah, that sound like the saner plan. The mountains and rivers should make it easy to hold the line against Serbia.
