I'll get my new character up in a bit. Recovering from Hell week (aka doing my homework).

Working on Round 2, Initial Weapons have been updated with the Chainsaw and Hunting Rifle.

I'll give people an extra day to enter new characters if they wish to play.

Game II- Round 1: Deus

Exactly one year after the first arena games, a new group of the top fighters in the world step through corridors, having gone through lives of violence and struggle to finally make it here. Though nine will enter, only one will exit, and they will exit with eternal glory. Each of them reaches their respective gate, each gate placed at equidistant points on the outer perimeter of the arena itself.

An excited crowd of tens of thousands begins filling the Colosseum seats, all passing by a shining monument of Ryan, the winner of the first games, screaming into the air and hoisting his shield triumphantly over his head. The crowd settles in, opening bottles of beverage and containers of food, bantering to one another. Millions more watch on screens in homes and pubs, glued to the screen as they await the next match. The success of the  first arena games gave it's owners a profit that even outdid Ryan's 1 billion dollar earnings, several times over in fact. The arena had increased in capacity, and the publicity and hype for the arena made the annual event the most anticipated sporting event of the year, only rivaled by the World Cup.

After spending time in the dark for a few minutes, the gates gradually open for each contestant. As they step into the circular arena, the sunlight blinds them, and before their eyes can adjust a cool, crisp, wet air hits their bodies in contrast with the previous sandy arena. As they manage to find their vision, they look before them to rows upon rows of great oaks and birches, raised into the sky. The ground is now rich with vegetation, growing with grass and shrubs, accompanied by rocks both small and great. No longer is the arena a desert; it is a forest.

The announcers booming voice rings in their ears: "WELCOME LADIES AND GENTLEMEN TO THE SECOND GREAT ANNUAL ARENA GAMES! WITH A NEW FOREST LAYOUT, WHO WILL COME OUT THE VICTOR? LET'S FIND OUT!"

A bell rings.

It has begun.

"Welp'ah, time ta get ta smashin', hehe." Hoyt gave a silly grin to himself as he hefted his sledge. After a quick look around, he dashes to 'Oneshot,' bludgeoning instrument held high!

Eh, it's partly because, now that that strategy has been done, we know how to react to it, and partly because I get an attack bonus on targets moving slower than a brisk stroll.
