Yeah, both the weightset and ball field are from old Genesis. :)

Thanks for the kind words. I do indeed use workshop draw. I will see what I can do with the fishpodn/weight set/thatchery. 

Any ideas for more buildings Kobolds should have?

The Kobold graphics themselves are long done, and they look exactly like that picture. The only thing that differs is the kobold in the logo. ^^

Now those are proper Beefmo kobolds, I adore them :). Just change the logo I guess, and you are good.

Wow, those are some really great looking graphics. I really love the way the new workshops look too.

If those are what Toady's kobolds look like though, I have to wonder what his goblins look like? Other than being very tall and green, has there ever been an image of them?

Did someone say ogres?

As for who they can trade with, I'd suggest an option to choose between Easy mode (Trade with good races, evil ones are scaaaaaary), or Hard mode (nobody likes you ;~;).

I like how the warriors have a little color accent on their gear that matches the color they would be in ASCII.

These bolds are not done by me. Some of them were done by Solifuge, but no one knows who made the full set. We had that discussion in the original kobold camp thread. ^^

Yeah, I know... but its from the tileset, I cant use creature sprites for workshops ;)


Pets are done, more or less. Any suggestions for more? They also have access to normal domestic pets... maybe I should limit those?



Edit: Its not very visible on the picture, but the littersize is 3-5 (three to five) NOT 35. ^^

Did some minor design changes on the buildings (witchers hut, thatchery, boldball field) and added 2 more buildings:
 - Chitin Scrapper  => works with chitin
 - Surgical Theater => trains medical skills

And started adding reactions. 4 buildings done so far.

I should probably add some kind of toad-pet. For the toadlicker. ^^

Edit: Thats it for today. Tomorrow I start with different sorts of armors for the Ogres. And adding building materials and the proper labors to the buildings. Designs are all good and I tested them all ingame, so for so good.

Great job on the workshops Meph, the design has style and they really fit the theme.

For magic maybe the Kobolds could boost speeds? As to run away and maybe grant the Ogres some sort of blood lust a la Warcraft?

maybe a bit late, but some suggestions:

change "boldball pit" to "trap parcours"(or sth alike) - they have to get their trap-avoid somewhere

and name "weight set" instead "mudpit", still for wrestling and the like
 dem gals have to train public - good for morale ;D

in my opinion this fits the image of dirt-dwelling, weak yet agile creatures better than tough sports, lifting weights and solarium afterwards


otherwise this looks as great as usal

That makes perfect sense. Is done. Training Room instead of Weight Set and Trap Running Track instead of Boldball Field.

Kobold Castes need to be revamped. Right now they are to similar to the dwarven ones, with the savants and all that.
Also, they need some warrior castes.
